Wow, thanks for the cool feedback everyone. Yeah, dusting can be a bit of a problem especially when you have a dog with crazy allergies in the house. The glass shelves are frosted on one side that really helps conceal dust but otherwise the lil' ladies old makeup brushes get lots of use. The room started out many years ago when we bought the house and i felt the need to "plant my flag" somewhere. My wife and I made an agreement that she could decorate the rest of the house however she pleases but this one room would remain under my complete "creative control"(along with the garage

.) I'm pretty happy with how the deal worked out.

Holy crap. That's amazing, I really love the feel of the room as well. It doesn't seem to be just purely for your collection but seems like a great place to chill out, watch some TV, play some games, or just look at the fish.

Awesome. Utterly awesome.
