The best one was the Rocky Miniature statue that you had in the back though |

Nice Smokescreen set up. | Thanks, NP. I just saw your collection, too. Very good start.
I'll have my G1 collection pics up by tonight or tomorrow. Stay tuned! |

But I made an exception with Alt. Rodimus because he was an exclusive. So, all I did was open the bottom and undid all the twist ties and what not. Then I very carefully pulled the plastic bubble away from the cardboard on three sides, leaving the fourth side still attached. Then, after I took Rodimus out, I just put the bubble back down and taped the three sides with scotch tape. And, of course, I closed up the bottom, but that was the easy part. Honestly, I got lucky with Rodimus' packaging. It almost looks like it was never opened. Usually, they are pretty much destroyed when I open them. |

Now, back in the '80s I had them all, and I played with them hard. Around 1990, I stopped collecting and my parents packed them all away. Seventeen years later, after I started my new collection pictured above, I ventured into my parents' attic and rescued most of my G1 toys. Five boxes worth! Anyway, I brought them over to my house and painstakenly went through them. I was surprised that many of them were in very good shape. Others, however, looked horrible and some were even broken. I did my best to sort through the weapons and match them to the figures, but many I simply couldn't find.
So, here are the ones that were in the best shape and that I had room to put out on display. Hope you guys like 'em.
I updated the below pic of the bottom shelf. Predaking now has his gun mounted on his right arm. He also has his sword in his left hand. It's hard to see but it's there.
And here's something non- TF related. My small Alien and Predator collection. |
