Well Here's my collection at my apartment in Taylors South Carolina. I've been collecting seriously for a year after my temp job with toysrus but I've nitpicked a few in recent years before then. anyway since I'm bored and don't want to sleep now. Heres my 160 figure collection consisting of complete figures scout class or higher. The main autobot base. It looks nice but a notable number of figures are obscured from view. Try and spot cybertron defense red alert on the top shelf. The decepticons main base. There is a g2 megatron in that mess but it's just to clustered to see. The autobots secondary base on a bookshelf two shelves below the main where the aerialbots are displayed. closeup on the main autobot base. lower shelf. craning over the upper autobot shelf I take a snapshot of leader movie prime. craning again I take a snapshot of powermaster optimus prime. The secondary decepticon base home of classics megatron classics devestator and energon tidal wave who in the shot is obscured by megatrons wing. Just the angle I suppose. A diagonal craning shot to show some of the goodies behind megatron A pulled back view of the decepticon base. Um. That's my stack of nes games on the left. (22 games) On a keyboard here are my spychangers and computer warriors mini figures On top of the desk, junker Transformers, and complete gundams/zoids/etc. A little off topic but just for fun heres mighty max's skull mountain higher on the computer desk. Finally the monstrous robot "cyber power" note standard #2 the pencil at his feet for scale. That's my collection (mostly) If your interested I can pull the displays open a bit more for detailed shots of the figures you can't see or just post when I get more figures.
Still can't sleep, fortunately my digital cameras batteries are rechargeable so I can continue this photo blog. I opened up the lower level of the main autobot base. and aranged things around so you can see them. unfortunately I forgot to pull clocker out from behind red alert. The other side of the shelf arranged to be visible. The "battlevision" base on my tv next to the snes. Also I put ko grimlock and prowl on the base. Their better quality knockoffs than usual and lots of fun. g1 robot heroes. There fun because you can play with them and not worry about breaking anything. Also note the tin full of arcade prize plastic robots Well that's it for now. Take care.
ouch. sorry about some of the blurriness in the last few pics but I take 3 shots and pick from those three the cleanest ones. anyway these should be much clearer: a action master, a sparkbot, g2 scavenger, g2 manta ray, gold gun eject cassettebot, shrapnel, broken at the waist bluestreak, and 5 micromasters. 9 armada minicons, 3 energon minicons and armada sideswipes gun/dagger. Pulled back the alternators for a clearer view of the top shelf. A forward shot of the exposed topshelf Just behind primus is classic camaro bumblebee and the unicron head. Z-bots! In the 90s these were cool. kind of like robot heroes with vehicles and playsets to battle in. The yellow one is my favorite, he looks like a demented pacman. More to come later.
You've got a lot of different lines mixed together. I'm a bit nuts, can't have my pees touching my mashed potatos... same goes for my toys. Even when I have mixed shelf of things they are distinctly seperate.
No offense to the TF's, but the Technodrome is the badass-est piece in the whole photoshoot to me. XD
This is'nt really working. my shelves are just to compressed to show in the collections forum properly. At some point I'll have to pull down figures and photograph them in groups of 10. Thanks for the feedback everyone.
Nice collection. I would suggest when you take pics, do it three times for each area, so if one is blurry you can have a clearer one.
