I love the look of them! I have the memories of how the G1 toys looked on the store shelves. Plus the value retained sure doesn't hurt any.

I had started collecting Transformers from the beginning in 1984. By the time I completed High school and joined the Army, I had pretty much all the figures released from the first four series (I may just scan the pics I had of those sometime). Those eventually dissappeared as I couldn't keep up with them.

I began collecting again when Armada was starting, but it was really the Commemorative series G1 reissues that started getting me. As I collected, I found there were some I didn't like all that well, but I like having complete sets. I'll buy a second to open if I like it.

As the collection started growing, I told myself that I was stopping after Armada. I had most of them and many of RID. Next thing, Target had a sale on Energon figures, and it now has a life of its own. I've since used the extra money I gotten from deployments to pick of figures back through Beast Machines. I'm currently working on G2 and picking a few up in G1. Someday I'll get that collection back that I had back in the day, but still in sealed packages.

Beware!! Pic intense, but divided into series (mostly).

Decided I wanted to show the old pics. A few at least. The Boxed figures have limited space on shelves so many are turned sideways.

This was before I had to box everything up. Army was moving me somewhere else, so I put everything into storage.
