    After recent events on here, I've finally decided to come on here and post with all of you to help keep the work going. While not as much of a collector as some, I do enjoy the hobby. My prize possessions are as follows;

    This is a picture of a picture taken by Rob Sheridan at the Pittsburgh NIN show. It was the final leg of our 5 shows in 1 week trip back in the summer of 05. In all of the shows we were front row, and this is the one time we ever made it into a crowd pic. Also of very cool note, was that the opening act Bauhaus. Their amazing guitarist Daniel Ash snook down into the crowd without anyone noticing to catch the final few songs of NIN's show. It turns out he was right beside me. So, this is one perfect picture. Trent Reznor(0X) in front of us, Sami(01) up in front of me(03) on the rail, and Daniel Ash(02) beside me. I couldn't have asked for a better ending to our tour travel.

    I get hats and lithographs from every concert that I can get. They make for great wall decor. As far as the hats, I started this tradition back in 99 with the Fragility tour, where in Buffalo I got to see NIN for the first time. I bought the hat for $35 and in the rush of the crowd, it was knocked off and fell behind me. Unable to really move under the pressure of the crowd, I turned my head and the girl behind me was nice enough to return it to my head. When I turned my attention back to the stage, Trent himself had come done from the stage and was right in front of me. So, for my first concert ever, as well as my first NIN concert, I was able to sing with Trent Reznor during Piggy. All the crowd reached for him. I grabbed him by the wrist and we went face to face singing. I let him go shortly after, and he leaped back into the crowd and grabbed me, pulling my back to his face, and then he left me the mic as he went back onstage to finish the keyboard solo.

    Robocop was my first love in life. I saw the movie when my neighbors rented it on vhs when it first came out back in like 87 or so. We snuck over to watch it, and after it was over I was so excited I ran home and told my Mom about it and she grounded me for watching the R rated movie. Years later we were at the mall, my 2 brothers and my Dad. I went into Waldenbooks, and noticed this picture of Robocop on this comicbook cover. I instantly wanted it. But my dad would only give me .50 instead of the $1.00 I needed. Nor would my brothers donate to my cause. Walking out rejected, head down, I noticed this green piece of paper folded on the ground and instantly recognized it as money. At the very least it was the dollar I needed, but as I got closer I saw it was in fact $20.00. I got to celebrate shortly however, before my Dad made me split it with my 2 brothers who just moments before wouldn't share their money. Such is life I guess. But I bought the comic and that is where it all started. I collected comics religiously and feverishly for years. Eventually I started drawing them as well. In about 9th grade I decided comics and art was what I wanted to do. After graduating in '95 I moved to Dover, NJ to attend the Joe Kubert School of Graphic Art and Design. I graduated 3 years later in '98 and burnt out on drawing almost completely. Ironic and yet sadly depressing for some reason. But every year on my birthday I get something new involving Robocop. I don't collect comics anymore, and I don't really draw anymore either. Maybe one day though.

    I do randomly collect some figures I find interesting or have an appeal to me for whatever reason. The only one I got to relive my childhood though was this Voltron toy. I always did love him.

    Later in life I started my new collection phase, Beer Glasses! Any new beer or place I go that has a new glass, I need to get it. We have a cat, Trent, who very much likes to hop onto this shelf if he can.

    And while Sami's room is filled, and well organized and uhm, green--Mines just messy and well lived in and cramped. But it's what I call home.

    So for the foreseeable future, I'll be posting the updates on all things collection or repainting or whatever else comes our way. You've lost a camgirl, but you've gained a pair of pale legs.

    I'm pretty sure you all recognize the cases in that picture, so I don't need to go into all that part of the collecting stuff.

    I saw that. Eventually I'll get that. A lot of the molds just don't really look like Murphy or even Robocop. They just never really seem to get him right.
