BEHOLD! Phase one is complete!

After 1 year and 7 months of being locked away in cold storage, my collection is being freed. I finally got some shelves built on Sunday to start my collection room again. Every square inch of the walls in this room will be covered with shelves or Ikia glass cases including the closet. I am going to try to get my gundam, resin kits, Macross, Getter, Comic Figures and loose spawn collection out too. I have about 1/3 of my MISB collection free, mostly newer stuff. Unfortunately while isolated from me and I became less attached to my collection, I sold some of my sweetest MISB stuff. I just had my daughter and didn't even want to think of money or toys. But on the bright side my loose collection is getting damn near complete thanks to me snagging a lot of choice pieces when my friend dumped his entire collection. Here are the pics, tons of stuff still in boxes in the room and the garage. Spawn's in the attic in case I never get to it.

Even though I'm all for the opening of toys, sometimes the MIB look is rather impressive on display. Not for figures, no, because boxes usually cover them all up, but just the over all look and color scheme etc. Nice stuff.

Thanks guys, I will definitely be posting some close ups. I am going to wait till I build the shelves on the rest of the walls this weekend and have everything out. The shelves basically just have stuff piled on them. I was just excited to actually have my stuff out of the storage unit. But having stuff finally on shelves, I am sad at the lack of MISB G1 stuff. I sold a ton of my favorite pieces. But when the other two walls have my loose and rest of my MISB collection I'll post the rest of it.

Looks nice. I agree, sometimes the MISB look is better than loose, esp when you are using bookcases.

I can't wait to see your entire collection taking up that whole room. Great start.
My pretty cool collection, if I do say so myself.

Awesome collection. Wow, I need some books shelves like that. Also need that original Browning too. Your collection is very impressive.

Definitely a worthy collection to be shown in more detail, especially the G1 stuff. Get to it!
