Alright, here goes. So, my roommate got married a couple of months ago and moved out. I decided that I was going to consolidate most of my collection into that room and combine it with the office. The walls were previously white and the trim has been a horrible half-assed brown paint since I bought the house in '02. So, I spent a ton of time stripping all of the trim, doors, and windows down to bare wood as they had painted over a lacquer -- which paint doesn't stick to, and consequently there was all sorts of chipping. We then painted everything, changed out doorknobs (none matched anywhere in the house prior), curtains and curtain hardware, covers, etc. Basically everything is brand new.

Anyhow, below are pics. Enjoy!

Oh, and my classics and a few other figures are at work -- so no pics of them.

Hoo hoo, he's ripping me off Robin..

Curio's are the way to go for displays, I think I have the exact same case for my Primes.

Well, in my defense I've had the curio for my G1 stuff since 2001. I spent that silly $300 rebate/bribe Dubya sent out to buy it -- it was the most frivolous way I could think of to spend the money. So, perhaps YOU are copying ME!!

And I don't know what the brand/model on mine is, but it does look similar to your Prime display. I saw the pics last night when I was trying to decide whether or not to post my pics. If it helps any I bought mine at Slumberland. If you think it might be the same or close enough and know the manufacturer let me know -- I was trying to figure that out the past few months while I've been hunting Craigslist. I just kept hoping a matching identical model would magically show up there. The new one (alts & beast wars curio) is a good enough match -- albeit a bit small -- but it would be sweet to have a few identical curios.

And they are the way to go. Makes dusting the collection a 1-2x times a year affair. Plus it lends a lot of credibility to the whole "I collect toy robots designed for children" thing.
See my collection here!!!

Again, go to Big Lots, it's where I got mine, and pretty cheap too. All are under 200$ The one we have in common was about 169$

Nice curio and collection...the only thing bad about the curios is having to clean the glass...and the one I had would get dust inside over time...and you have to remove your collection in order to clean that...

Absolutely 100% correct sir. Display cases are the way to go. I started out w/ barrister's bookcases and have ended up w/ showcases. They really do lend a bit more credence to the "they are collectibles, not just toys" argument.

Very nice set-up, and nice overall collection. You have some great figures in there.
My pretty cool collection, if I do say so myself.
