I spent that silly $300 rebate/bribe Dubya sent out to buy it -- it was the most frivolous way I could think of to spend the money. So, perhaps YOU are copying ME!!
And I don't know what the brand/model on mine is, but it does look similar to your Prime display. I saw the pics last night when I was trying to decide whether or not to post my pics. If it helps any I bought mine at Slumberland. If you think it might be the same or close enough and know the manufacturer let me know -- I was trying to figure that out the past few months while I've been hunting Craigslist. I just kept hoping a matching identical model would magically show up there. The new one (alts & beast wars curio) is a good enough match -- albeit a bit small -- but it would be sweet to have a few identical curios.
And they are the way to go. Makes dusting the collection a 1-2x times a year affair. Plus it lends a lot of credibility to the whole "I collect toy robots designed for children" thing.

Display cases are the way to go. I started out w/ barrister's bookcases and have ended up w/ showcases. They really do lend a bit more credence to the "they are collectibles, not just toys" argument.
Very nice set-up, and nice overall collection. You have some great figures in there. My pretty cool collection, if I do say so myself. |
