MAJOR UPDATE: 05-23-15 - aka - This is getting out of hand! said my bank account

The latest photos of an ever-growing collection of MP-ish scale G1 accurate bots. Some I've painted or weathered, some I've scratch built, some just needed some modding. Have fun and see if you can guess which are which.

Photos continued on second page - reached my 20 pic upload limit for this post.

Great collection and some great mods to figures. One or two of the images were blurred slightly but the collection looks great!

I wish it was a kit. Windcharger is a repaint of the many times used mold (Bumblebee/Goldfire/Nightbeat, etc) with a head I sculpted myself to fit in the cavity so he could still transform. I also cut styrene and layered it to become the louvers on the back windshield. I'll retire him when X-Transbots comes out with their take since it's a Trans Am and I'm all about G1 authenticity when possible.

    Ask and ye shall receiveth...

    [IMG][IMG]

Trailbreaker is one of my first customs and my actual first re-shell. Directly ripped off Wheeljack's idea and leaned heavily on them during modding. I got antsy to finish and took some short cuts that I couldn't undo. So he's too fragile to transform and when he does many of the panels don't line up. Wish Big Road would've came out, that is a perfect MP Scale TB

Hound is just Alternators Hound with a Shapeways head. Wasn't too pleased with the sizing so he'll hold the spot until one of the 3P Hounds come out and take his place.

    Custom sculpted Windcharger head.

    Just a placeholder Beachcomber.

Two of my favorite customs. Both use War For Cyberton Megatron and G1 Top Spin/Twin Twist parts. Mixed the paint to get a cool shade of blue turquoise.

Guzzle is made from a Crossovers Hulk and a cheap KO head. With a nice Lived-in look paint job.

Cyclonus is KFC Tempest with G1 Brainstorm's legs and some spare parts to make the arms longer and a purple paint wash to make him a little darker.

Mp Scale Thrust is a KO TFC F-16 and the cone of the KO Harrier, Universe Solar Storm Grappel's face and G1 Wings & Feet. Ordered 2 more of those KO's to complete the trio.

The latest mod. TFC Hercules with Armada Unicron waist, thighs and knees. The Radicons thread can be seen here.
