I have been collecting since 1984, admittedly with a few long gaps. Most of my childhood collection are gone, but a few remain. The focus of my collection these days is mostly Masterpiece and 3rd party Masterpiece scale figures. These, along with my G1 and G1 reissue live in the "nook" off of the dining room. After 1987 I was out of transformers until I bought the reissue Prime. When was that? Early 2000's some time? I grabbed a bunch of those, lots of Armada, more Energon, and a good chunk of Cybertron. Then I took a major break shortly after MP01 came out and got back into it again about three years ago. I think I snagged a Transformers Prime Bulkhead or something, just for old time's sake. Next thing I know I'm collecting the whole Prime line that I can find and discovering what became of the MP line during my absence. Wow! The Masterpiece line had come so far. I missed MP 10 and 11 but got in on MP 12 and onward, picking up Grimlock, Rodimus, and Hasbro Prime along the way. I also got into 3rd party stuff that was MP scaled, and MP and MP 3rd party scale is now my focus. MP and 3rd party: [/URL]
Reserved for my office collection of Armada, Energon, Cybertron, Generations, and Star Wars when I get better pictures. Just a teaser.
Let the brainwashing begin. Start them young and get them hooked. That's the way to do it. Excellent collection, sir.
Thanks. Office pics to come soon. It is absolutely fantastic. Each vehicle is tight and each robot mode is superb. The plastic is very high quality. It is a bit finicky to transform and some tabs are a bit tight, but worth it. It needs a filler piece for the neck, and is a bit small. But I still like it a lot. One of the jewels of my collection.
I just have the two, Missed Green Giant and can't collect every new third party Gestalts. Loving DX9's Invisible.
