Updated quite a few more figures! MOAR I SAY!

So the title may be a little over the top but I'm quite excited with the new arrangement. Not bad for only 3 months worth of collecting ;)  Hope you all enjoy. Much like most of you this will be an ever growing, changing assortment.

    --EDIT:

Added quite a few more figures to the works, rearranged a bit and people asked for pictures of some of the big hauls I was getting. I only managed to find the terrible...terrible... motherload that got me started in a BIG way lol. ENJOY!

Wow, that looks great! Sounds like you worked your tail off to get all that together in about a day. That top row is pretty epic. I like seeing that you display some of them in alt mode. Looking forward to seeing it with two more shelves.

    Nice work.

Yes, very cool setup. Look like the IKEA Billy cabinets, I have about 5 of them in white and yes, display room runs out fast. Any thoughts about putting glass doors on them ?? Can't wait to see more.

Thanks. I didn't have much of a choice. I had everything scattered throughout the living room and with 2 thieving cats, I can't leave anything laying around lol. The top row is definitely my current favorite also. It's for the big guys who didn't quite fit on shelves. I left the middle open ish for my ongoing combiner addiction. The only reason there's a bunch in alt mode is because that was about 2am and I was exhausted. But it looks ok for now. I need to make steps instead of the foam but it works for the time being

    They are http://m.target.com/p/room-essentials-5-shelf-bookcase-black/-/A-12630803
Granted they are very cheap but I'm in the market to buy a house and didn't want to get to elaborate yet. Once I settle into a house, I'll be building my own custom display cases. I just got tired of having everything boxed up.
I'll get some closer pictures up tomorrow cause I just noticed it's kinda hard to see what's what

How do you like those bookshelves? I spotted them at Target and was thinking of grabbing a few for some of my GI Joe and Star Wars figures. Look decent up close? Seem pretty durable? Your collection looks great!!!

That's where I got them. I think they're great. Takes less than 20min to assemble, and if you call the company in the instructions, you can order more shelves and pins and whatnot. (they come with 3 per case, I'm using 4) As much as I like the look of the black, the dust adds up REAL quick.......shoulda gone white lol

Bravo, great setup, really very nice.

all that's missing now is the swivel la-z-boy recliner chair right smack in the middle. ;)

This is a pretty incredible selection of figures for someone who's been collecting for years, let alone a few months. Very impressive.

Be glad they aren't close up shots. Black was a terrible choice lol

I'd still like to be able to find me a wifey at some point lol

Tell my wallet that... I tend to get carried away once I develop a hobby. Hence the monster truck that can daily drive at 160db at 36hz lol

Not bad?! That's amazing. I've been collecting for over 2 years and my collection is tiny compared to that.

Thanks. I really hate cluttered up shelves. As I acquire more I'm going to either buy more bookcases, or sell off stuff I don't really want.

Honestly, unless it's a combiner or a LARGE figure, I don't have much interest in g1. I've already sold off or given away most of the small g1 figures I had.

I dove right into the deep end of the pool lol. For the first few weeks I was buying 30-40 figures at a time, then I had to reign myself in a little bit with my spending.

Ah yes, the bane of using black cases. Bring out that dust swiper every week. :p
    Nice collection too.
You should have taken pics of your weekly hauls if you were buying 30-40 bots per week. Would have been fun to see.

That was before I knew of this place....or any Transformers resource for that matter. I still have a 2'x3'x2' Tupperware container half full of bits, pieces and half assembled bots.. I call it my graveyard. It's really not fun when you are looking at a piece smaller than your pinky nail wondering who the hell it's supposed to go to. Same applies with the weapons. I have 4 ziplock bags full of weapons lol.

Eventually, once I've rummaged through that bin a few more times, the graveyard is going to show up on here fs as a parts lot. I'm sure it'd make a customizer's day.
