Beast Wars Second (BWII) Episode 02: White Lion, Run! Summary

The Cybertrons chase the white lion through the forest, trying to understand why the lion saved them. The lion leads them to their crashed ship. As they enter the ship, they find the computer, Navi, functional. In a safe environment, the Cybertrons transform into their robot modes.

The white lion enters the control room and transforms into...Lioconvoy! Lioconvoy retells the story of how he landed on Gaea after losing control of his ship. He also tells of a white lion who saved him from death by bringing him to a giant energy source that gave him the lion alternate form. Elated that their leader is alive, the Cybertrons are excited about their mission to defeat the Destrons.

In a valley, the Destron ship has landed near a large, ancient computer. Upon discovering its purpose, Galvatron orders the computer to give him the most dominating forms Gaea has to offer. Images of a drill tank and dragon are seen entering Galvatron. After having his structure mutated, Galvatron falls to the ground unconscious. His brother, Megastorm, takes control of the Destrons.

Using the ancient computer's database, Megastorm assigns alternate molds to four protoforms to become the Auto-Rollers: Autostinger, Autocrasher, Autojeter and Autolauncher. Megastorm then orders them to clear the forest to create room for a new base.

Meanwhile, Dirge, Thrust, Starscream, and BB assume new alternate modes (which all happen to be a variety of jet or bomber). Megastorm then sends them off to find the white lion.

Starscream and BB are the first to find a white lion and attack (keep in mind this is a real lion and not Lioconvoy). The lion dodges the fire but is injured in the process.

Watching over the carnage, Lioconvoy sees the wounded lion. He orders Apache to follow him while the rest of the Cybertrons attend to putting out the forest fire caused by the Destrons.

Lioconvoy and Apache approach the wounded lion and Apache begins to attend to the lion. Lioconvoy takes off and transforms into his beast mode. He allows himself to be captured by Starscream through an energy net, after which he is taken to the Destron base. Meanwhile, Scuba pops out of the ground and starts spraying water everywhre. The forest fire is extinguished.

Megastorm has acquired a new alternate mode in the meantime. Starscream and BB arrive with the net, only to find out that the lion has escaped. The lion shows up at the Destron base and transforms into Lioconvoy. Before the Destrons can attack, Lioconvoy unleashes an impressive amount of firepower. Under heavy firepower, the Destrons escape.
