Collection Count: More then 100, many Bionicle figures (mostly dismantled) and a whole bunch of random stuff...

In fact having now got some of the ROTF figures I'd almost forgotten how nice it is to have lots of detail on toys after the relatively simple (but awesome) Animated designs.

I've been looking forward to the second movie stuff for a while now even though I have enjoyed Animated's toys immensely.
'nuff said.

I for one thought animated was great, and with RotF out, I have more figures to use in my pic comic, more of a story. I'm not one of those HARD CORE people that makes or breaks with transformers, if I like what I see, I get it, if I don't, I won't buy it. Plain and simple.

I'm just glad we still have animated (though nothing new) as the movie was such a dissapointment. I love my animated toys more than ever now.

Not at all, one TF continuity has never ruined another with me.

Does the "greatness" of apples ruin oranges for you?

Apples are apples are apples, but some people prefer Grannie Smiths to Red Delicious and never go back once they've tasted one over the other, some people like both. It's all a matter of tastes. Oranges would be G.I. Joe. That's how I see it imho anyway.

A PG-13 Hollywood action movie is not in the same category as a 30 minute TV cartoon for children, even if they're both (very) loosely interpreted from the same subject material. It's like comparing Batman: The Brave and The Bold to Batman: The Dark Knight. In that example, I can say that I don't like TBaTB, but it's certainly not because Dark Knight "ruined" it for me. It would be crazy to judge them by the same standards. An apples-to-apples comparison here would be like the G1 cartoon to the original G.I. Joe cartoon, or Animated to Beast Wars.

I don't know about apples or oranges (I'm a durian guy myself) but I do know I don't like all eggs in one basket.

You don't like BATB? The show that made Aquaman cool? OUTRAGEOUS!

Seriously, I like both for what they are. And like Animated was to the LA movieverse, BATB adds a little variety to the Batman experience. Some people thought TDK was too Grimdark, so those people can watch BATB for their Bat-fix.

/Not that Grimdark doesn't fit in with Batman, of course.
//Now trying to shoehorn it into other DC properties may be another story.
///And by the way, BATB >>>>> The Batman.
////Speaking of which, I think a better question would be, does B:TAS's history ruin BATB or other Batman cartoons for anyone?
No neon colors? I can look at these Transformers without going blind? WAHHHHH IT'S NOT...GEETEW!
