TF Animated Character Idea - Hound

Here I am again with another character, this time Hound... Huu, Hound fans will probably murder me for this.

So, Hound was one I thought of just a few hours ago. I got this quirky idea in mind, so I drew what came to mind. A lot of it is based on Swindle's design (mainly the anatomy), but I'm thinking maybe he should be a rusty green pickup truck. Why? You'll see...

Appearance-wise, he has a standard not-big-chinned face. His headgear resembles a trucker cap, and he has a handlebar mustache. As for his introduction, well.. Say an Allspark fragment finds its way to a country hick's pickup truck. Instant Hound. Hound might be a bit of a stereotype here, being protective of his "property." Dunno how this comes about, maybe some suggestions would help?

Anyway, that's all I have right now. I need to scan this image soon. I can totally see a country accent working for the idea, but the design needs... reworking.

Please don't hate me if you think I've butchered the character. ^^; I just did this idea for fun. I like how Animated takes otherwise generic characters like Swindle and the Constructicons, and gives them creative new personalities and themes. This is just my tribute to it. Suggestions on design and plot would be helpful!

Sorry bud but you have got it totally wrong.

He should be a military jeep as in G1. The transformation should be similar, but he shouuld be bulkier. He could be a combat specialist sent by the Elite guard to run through tactics with Prime and his crew.

Basically make him a kick ass army robot with a big gun!!!!

Hm... But don't we already have Ultra Magnus to cover that role?

I may keep him as a jeep, but I dunno about military stuff. Maybe if it IS a military vehicle, the owner of the jeep is a type of hick, then Hound adopts his personality? Just exploring different possibilities here. Like Wreck-Gar being a garbage truck, or Soundwave being a music playing robot, then Scion. These things prove a character is still who they are even if they don't have the same alt. mode we are familiar with. :3

Is see UM as the commander, they need a sarge. Maybe a vetran of the great war like ratchet, a guy thats been through it. Maybe give him some sort of post tramatic stress disorder. A bit of a loner and just a hard ass thats there to get the job done.

My take on Hound:
Phrase-"You think this is hard?! I could do this in my sleep, during the war!"
Vehical mode-Cybertronian Jeep w/ Turrent
Hound is a war hero who is emotionally scarred,due to his whole trupe dieing during the war, and being the only surviver, he must remind everyone. He is ezaly side-tracked when people ask him about his past. BUt, he is must well known for being hardass.
