There are only so many times you can be lenient to somebody who'll stab you in the back.
That makes Michael Scott smarter than G1 Megatron.

I once farted on the set of Blue Lagoon.

I think G1 Megatron kept SS around becaused it kept him alert and he had fun watching SS shit himself when his plan to kill Megs failed

Animated Megs is heartless, which is a pretty good quality in a badguy leader I would think.

BW Megs was great too. he did all sorts of bad stuff, but, from what I remember, he never shot his troops...in the face.

Animated Megs did loose his body though. And remained only a head for many episodes. Plus with the damage to his head, he was missing more than teeth, but his whole jaw and half of his face.

Or maybe he was just dumb as a brick, you know, just like every 80's cartoon villain.

Yeah, yeah, but Animated Megatron's head was imposing even in that state. Megatron's head flying off, and/or switching with Inferno's was embarrassing.

And then, two words..............Rubber Ducky...

I dunno, Starscream didn't seem to be all that impressed by a bodiless Megatron who'd been kept in Sumdac's lab for years, having all of his technology reverse engineered. I'd have to think being in that state would be a bit embarrassing for Ani Megs.

And the BW Megatron's Rubber Ducky was just pure awesome.

Anywho, Beast Wars Megatron is, IMO, the best Megatron out there. Animated Megs? Ehh...I could consider him to be a "promising rookie."

Not embarrassing, funny. It was one of the "cartoon" moments where BW stopped and said, "oh right, I'm a cartoon, not just an action-drama". I laughed when I saw this, especially since it was a nice (even if un-intentional) reference to how Iferno was going to be Megatron's new body before the idea of Transmetals popped up.

One word: AWESOME. Rubber ducky was the best thing ever, it really made Megs out to be this kind of sociopath almost. Transmetal Rubber Ducky was unstoppably awesome, even though he died when the Pred base blew up. (Many people like to think the giant Ducky that Sky-byte found in RID was the same character, but unless RD put on a few dozen pounds it's not likely)

Well, there was Tarantulas, and I'll bet Terrorsaur felt the ouch after he betrayed Megs that one time... well, it was more like the 2nd, or was it the third? He could've gotten shot in the face.

Still, he mostly kept things down to a sound beating and or vicious blows to the face.

Yeah, it was either this or he secretly liked beating up Starscream. (I guess that really does make Animated Megs like G1 Megs)
