...everywhere. BBTS and TFSource both have them priced somewhere between $30-40 instead of $50.00

IIRC, it's TFSource that has them at $29.99

At the dropped price, are they worth getting and figuring out how to bash a better head onto? I'm thinking about picking up Thundercracker for my growing "He's not an asshole" display of Thundercrackers.

I picked up Sunstorm at release, transformed it twice, didn't have fun, and have left him in jet mode ever since. I wouldn't buy one even at the dropped price... though if you were to display in bot mode a new head is a must. Those things are freaking terrible.

I'm still kinda on the fence about these, even though at bigbadtoystore.com, they're selling them for $199.99 for all 7.

Off-topic: I'm kinda reticent about the MP Prowl, Bluestreak & Smokescreen, as my taste for TF's lately has gone bland.

So, thanks to the BBTS one day sale, I can bump this thread.

I just received the Starscream variant (I'm not going to take the time to learn his IT name. lol) and I'm quite impressed.

The idea is fantastic, and both modes look good, really good. However, the colors of the paint apps reek of G2 instead of G1 (which is fine, if not a little cartoonish) and the details are a bit washed out in the mold. It could be more detailed, you can see it, but it's just kinda bubbly and washed out, especially the head.

Still, the figure is well made, especially for Impossible Toys, the plastic quality is incredible (for them) and it's sturdy. I about fell over when I had it in hand. I'm biased because I have their Valkyrie and I love it (though it is flawed), but with that in mind, I can admit they have some serious issues over at Impossible Toys.

Issues that could've been overcome easily and they could've made a huge impact in this market. They wasted it. These Tetrajets are proof that they could've done something special.

For $20.00? This was well worth it. For the original $50.00? Hell no. Just...no.

If they had done the rainmakers, I would have bought them for sure
