Hello! I didn't see a review thread for these, and while the normal thread for them is nice, I figured some would just want to see some pictures of the Fanstyle PH-02 hands set for MP-17 Prowl. There are two more in this PH series, PH-01 for Smokescreen and PH-03 for Streak. The hands come in this very professional carded bubble, which some small but nice artwork. It includes the hands of course, as well as four backup screws and a screwdriver. The hands themselves are very clean and detailed, and feature multiple points of articulation. There are 3 points of articulation per finger, with a ball joint at the base. The hands can also be folded into a very nice fist, and can fit for transformation purposes. And, one of the best features is that the hands have a slot that can accommodate the rifle. Along with looking very nice on Prowl, they also fit on MP-09 Rodimus! It takes some minor sanding on the top of the circular peg, but once it's in it's as good as gold. Now, he can't use his guns very well, unless you modify the tab. He can't use the saw and welder gimmick or transform without removing the hands, sadly. But all in all, they look better on Rodimus I think than Prowl. Overall, I definitely recommend this set of hands, as well as the other sets for Streak and Smokescreen. They cost $14.99 at lunartoystore, and a few dollars extra at BBTS and a few others, so they're very inexpensive and the quality is great.
They are amazing and you need them. They're a bit bigger than the stock hands, but not significantly so, and they don't look too big, which is the important thing.
Jeez, do I ever wish these were available in black. I bet they'd go great on the TFU Razorclaw I'm customizing.
You could always die them. I might get a pair for something that I have been working on. Black is easy to match thank God.
i ordered the gray set cos i read that they will fit on Heavy Noisy as well..will report back on my findings.
These are the best poseable hands I've seen. I've got all the Datsun sets, and I am so happy I did. Hopefully they tackle sideswipe as well. Wheeljack probably not, since part of his altmode is attached to his hands.
I just bought the gray ones for my Masterpiece Hot Rod...I'll make it so that he can hold his weapons. But my biggest grip had been Hot Rods lame looking hands.
Yupyup, they do fit!! Unfortunately, only on heavy noisy as the others have differently installed fists.. transformation is not affected at all either!
yeah these are good...and they really make rodimus look remarkable better...but the KFC hands that came with Transistor? waaaay better.... these are nice, but the knuckles can pop out... not crazy...but enough so that it can be frustrationg after being spoiled by Transistors hands and the KFC hands that came with it for Soundwave. also the color will be pure white like prowl. MP rodimus' highlights are a wierd off-white, so i opted to paint mine to match. I do wish KFC would make dedicated RP hands/ blaster kit like they did for mp 10
I have articulated hands on all my bots except for optimus prime as they do not grip his custom light up rifle. my hot rod hands hold his guns fine with grip alone as they are a pain to peg in, only hanbds ive seen that are really fragile is on the lamborginis. starscreams and the other seekers hands are amazing too and show a better trend for kfc, right in line with the ultra magnus hands
