Ah very cool! Can you do some size/comparision shots with say a Voyager class figure, or FP Steel Core (if you have him)? Thanks for the pix!

 

Lovely toy completely bolloxed up by a bad colour choice.

Bit of Gunmetal was what was needed there instead.. Purple and Orange "REALLY???"

Even if the original had a little purple on him - it still looks horrible when in bright lights and on a toy even if it's a lot less noticeable in art form:

Perhaps a colour a few shade down from black might have meshed with the purple better.

I've said it before... and I'll say it again.

THIS IS WHAT PCC COULD HAVE BEEN. They could've made a single drone that formed limb sets like Paladin... or even small scouts that turned into limbs like the Iron Army.

Hm... now that I think of it... do you by chance have the Iron Army for size comparison? Possibly also able to mix/match some parts?

Well, they don't have springs like PCCs. They shouldn't fly off at high velocity like PCCs.

Black, gunmetal, and orange? How utterly pedestrian and boring.

The subtle dark purple highlights do wonders in making this guy pop and bring a unique flair to the design.

 

Yeah the purple looks great to me too. No problems whatsoever here.

Very cool. I LOVE the combined mode proportions and expressiveness. I really hope I'm not making a mistake holding out for a Jungle/Marine recolor. I just can't quite stand the orange joints and connectors, and every time I've almost preordered him, I just keep thinking how perfect a more Earth-military color scheme would make him.

Edit: Ah, hell with it, preordered. Even if I'm now at the bottom of the BBTS preorder list, I just can't wait another year or more for this goodness (considering the delay with Battle Tanker's recolor). I'll learn to live with orange.

 

This guy looks really fantastic. I cannot wait to get my hands on some version of this.

Any chance we can see what some of the other pcc bots look like with these limbs?

I really want to get the jungle set to match up with heavytread, but at the same time I really don't want to miss out on the core bot from this set. So if the colors work ok with heavytread, I could be willing to just get this set.
