Oh thanks. I was aware other places were selling it (not necessarily those places), but I just thought TFsource was one of the more trusted sites.

I just got this from TFS. This kit is EXCEPTIONAL. I can't stop staring at Leader Prime now. It also makes him REALLY big, like he is suppose to be. He is now a center piece in the collection.

Any comparison pics with a Leader Jetfire to see how much improves the looks?

Check the third party forum for a thread with comparisons...

    Or google works, too.

But honestly I had both (sold the jetfire combo though) and it's a WORLD of difference.

I just tried to see if I could do it quickly and I wasn't able to. Maybe I'll try some more later on.
It's a shame because it would have been easy for them to do it. The peg that connects the kit to vehicle mode is on the back and has a hole in it. They could have made the peg and hole for connecting the cannon in vehicle mode on the top side of the kit the same size to get it to fit on the back/bottom...

I received my kit, and i think this is another awesome product by FWI.

If i were to pick any drawbacks to this, it would be how the cockpit parts just sit atop his shoulders without snapping into any position... A bit floppy on that execution but gravity is on its side. Also, it would have been great if the giant cannon could be attached to his back for storage. Another thought is that it would not have been too difficult at all to have the engines be able to rotate around.

Beyond those points, I love this kit!

Yeah, I might add some Future Floor Polish to those joints if they get to be a problem...

To blast over the shoulders like in the movie? If they just rotated as is, there wouldn't be enough clearance to move much. I think they would have had to include some sliding parts for the rotation to be effective.

I just ordered mine last night, can't wait to upgrade my ROTF OP; definitely will be an improvement over the Hasbro "brick/corpse Jetfire combo".

Got mine in the mail today, awesome upgrade instead of Leader Jetfire hanging off OP. Well worth the money. There is only one issue with the new combo: my ROTF's OP ankle ball joints don't want to hold the weight properly, the slightest bumping and the whole thing wants to fall over backwards.

You might need to reinforce the joints with super glue, nail polish, or future. I have mine on Buster Prime and he stands just fine.

Works on the base ROTF figure and any revisions of this mold. On mine though, the ankle ball joint on OP became the weakest link, as it couldn't support the weight and wanted to fall (backward or forward).

And when I went to put it on the shelf, I must have offset the ankles--it fell (luckily I caught it mid-fall), wiped out DOTM Megatron, BB, Topspin, Crankcase, SP. Thankfully none were damaged. Odd thing is it had been standing perfectly for at least an hour before this incident. Going to have to fix this issue ASAP.

A bit late to the game, but just got my hands on the FWI-3 Jet Power Upgrade Kit for my Movie Buster Prime. Sure all the TF Movie hype had long died out by now, and I was at a point figuring out what TF figures to keep in my display cabinet as space are running tight. I couldn't make up my mind to keep Movie stuff in it or not (at least a select few), though the Buster Prime does look quite nice. So while google around, I came across this 3rd party FWI-3 Kit, which are just add on parts with the focus on accuracy rather than having the entire Jetfire as Prime's backpack. Looks stunning, but still maintain the toy aesthetics without being too stylized. The result is pretty amazing, with the combined figure being stable enough (but your Prime needs to have pretty tight ratchets & ankle ball joints to sustain the added slight back heavy weight, and need to angle the legs certain way to offset the weight). Many of the panels are articulated, so you can move them around as you see fit. Gun grips nice & firm on Prime's hand. The assembly holds on pretty well too, without much articulation restrictions. Now, I can say Buster Prime truly deserves a spot in my cabinet (even when it takes up more space now). For $59.99 plus shipping, this set is well worth it. Plastic quality & paint app is decent (but not top grade), but the construction is quite sturdy on areas that need to be. Hope you guys like it.
