What is the best possible thing you can spend $10 on if you are a third party Transformer collector AND a fan of Bruce Campbell movies? MasterShooter Collectibles BrOOMstick! This little piece of plastic gold is the perfect little stand in for Fracas in your CHUG collection, as well as being a freakin' awesome Evil Dead reference! Just read his biography, which managed to mix Transformers, The Wizard of Oz and the Evil Dead in equal amounts: Yes, you read right, he has a CHAINSAW! The BrOOMstick toy comes with a chainsaw add-on as well as a small adapter for Mini-Con ports. Broomstick has 9 points of articulation in the main figure, plus two more if you count his accessories. Neck, shoulders, elbows, legs and knees are all ball joints. In gun mode, BrOOMstick folds up into a stubby, three barrelled pistol. He has a handly that works with 4mm and 5mm hands, as well as a 3m "C-Clip'. You can leave the chainsaw on the hand, or remove it. He is easily comparable to any Arms Micron toy out there, in fact probably better quality. Anyways, I recomend it to anyone who wants a new Fracas, or who loves Bruce Campbell movies, chainsaws, or the Wizard of Oz.
Awesome review! Any toy that references a Bruce Campbell character is a friend of mine! Now if they woikd only reference his revolver from The Adventures of Brisco County Jr, I'dbe all set!
Got my 4 pack from BBTS today and my BrOOMstick was broke, emailed them for a replacement. Other then that I love these guys and highly recommend them
Here's TR Scourge with Mastershooter BrOOMstick (Not-Fracas) 3rd party Targetmaster. I think it looks really awesome. Broomstick is a really neat little figure. The plastic quality is alot better than expected too.
Sigh... TR Scourge really should have been a Targetmaster instead of a Headmaster, err "Titan Master" I'll give my mastershooter broomstick to Takara Legends Scourge when he comes in.
All of he TR figures are fantastic so far. The playability is off the charts. They look great and they're fun to transform too. It doesn't bother me in the slightest bit that some of these characters aren't traditional Headmasters. For those that are bothered by it, just don't acknowledge the Headmaster gimmick by not transforming the head. But it's awesome to have a fantastic little figure like BrOOMstick to use to turn Scourge into targetmaster AND headmaster.
My only *minor* gripe with BrOOMstick is that the handle peg is way too short. Wish they would've made it a little longer.
Hasbro could have easily kept Blurr and Scourge as Targetmasters with the same playability and fun factor of these Titan Masters but without forcing the Headmaster gimmick on them (that way their heads would look better, Scourge in particular is a fathead). In a few years they'll probably release a "proper" Targetmaster Blurr and Scourge and alot of fans will once again buy them and replace these guys. I'm just waiting for a 3rd party to release new heads for them and I'll be set.
Yeah BrOOMstick is a really nice figure. Not sure about the history of Mastershooter or whether they're still in business or not but, they'd be smart to pick production back up with the introduction of Titans Return figures who should be Targetmasters. There's definitely a market opening back up for their products. I mean, TR Scourge looks fantastic with BrOOMstick. Really happy I made the purchase. I just purchased a Mega Gun on clearance at BBTS. Once it gets here I plan to have TR Galvatron hold it as sort of an homage to his former self.
Here is a fun fact. The Studio 86 Scourge can only mount any Targetmaster partner in the side because there is no top 5mm hole... Unless you have BrOOMstick, who can use his 3mm clip mount option!
