So I just got these in today and decided to do a quick little review for these accessories. There's not much to say about them as they are just pink and purple cubes. The plastic on them seem to be fairly solid and the craftsmanship on them are good. No extra glue hanging off the edges or anything. So you get 2 cubes with each pack and a different read out scan for each cube set. The pink one get the scan of the ship which comes with the original MP Soundwave and you get a Megatron scan with the purple cubes. So you get one normal cube and one cube with one side of the corners cut a bit so that it can fit into Soundwave chest. One last thing I wanted to mention are that the chest scans actually glow in the dark and I feel that's a cool little extra feature. All and all I'm pretty happy with these for $9 shipped. Do you like one color more than the other? Considering getting a set but still undecided on which I like better.
Personally I prefer the pink as it pops on the shelf a bit more as the purple ones just kind of blend in with everything else. And from a G1 perspective, I always remember seeing more of the pink cubes in the tv show. I also remember seeing the purple ones and the rainbow colour ones but the pink ones seem to show up the most.
I just received my order of 16 cubes from RK. "Had" to have the pile-o-cubes for my display. Anyway, I wanted to mention that they aren't perfectly rectangular - one of the sides is shorter than the opposite so they won't sit flush and consequently won't stack flush unless you alternate the second layer in order to even things up. Since you can fix it by alternating, I'm ok with it, but am frustrated I have to.
