They don't need to because the official Device Label Blaster is a perfect counterpart to Sonicron.

 

here's a shot of my sonicron I am happy with him even though he has his defaults but I overall like him.

 

This thing is on sale at BBTS right now. Wasn't planning on getting him but for $20 why not.

 

For $20 it's worth checking out. By no means perfect, but it has its charms. Worth snagging the cassettes to go with it as well IMO.

 

When I saw BBTS had him on clearance for $20.25 I too figured why not. I'll probably pickup that new cassette 2 pack at some point.

 

I agree I seen this for $20.25 too and bought him.I was wondering does all the g1 tapes fit sonicron or just the bts-05 tapes and laserbeak.

I think Sonicron is great with a bit of tlc. Be sure to check my comments in the Feedback section here. After I tightened the joints up on mine, I REALLY like it!

 

So...I just got my Sonicron and this thing is actually not that bad. He is a good stand in for Soundwave. Wouldn't mind picking up another one for $20.

 

I went ahead and bit the bullet. $20 is too good to be true. Can't wait to finally get a closer look at this fig.

 

I'll put this out there if someone buys sonicron and gets him and isn't happy with him I will be happy to buy him off your hands being that I will only purchase one from one unhappy tf fan.

 

It might fit the original tapes but it won't fit its own damn tapes! Try as I might I cannot get Savage to fit in the damn tape holder and get it to close.

But everyone who said this was a floppy mess sure as hell was not kidding.

 

I jumped on the $20 Price. $27 Shipped is too good to pass up.

Despite wanting to get Masterpiece Soundwave in December, I decided to pick this up too.

 

I'm all for 3rd party toys. I bought him for about 30 dollars awhile back. But since then I sold him and I'm glad I got my money back for it. It just didn't work for me. I'm not saying its a bad figure and if you enjoy it that's great for you. But for me, I just felt it was a mistake for my collection. I didn't see anything special about it. I'll stick with my G1 thank you. And now with the MP coming out I am all set.

 

It came last week. Bought for 11$ shipped.
He nails it. Did a few tweeks on tightening the loose joints and that's it. He is good to go.

 

Loose joints, and the plastic is *cgeap* in some places. It doesn't warrant nearly the amount of hate people have heaped on it over the years
