Fans of the Generation 1 cartoon finally have an Ark play set complete with Teletraan-1, medical bay, SkySpy and more thanks to iGear. Read on to find out what to expect from the IG-TF007 Computer Control Center.

    Contents:
    • Teletraan-1
    • Miniature Soundwave in tape deck mode
    • SkySpy computer
    • SkySpy satellite
    • SkySpy docking station
    • Medical bay
    • 2 monitors
    • 12 front wall pieces
    • 12 floor pieces
    • 8 side wall pieces
    • and a Sticker sheet

If you're reading this you've probably already seen images of the box which is very nicely designed. Upon opening the box there are no assembly or sticker application instructions. You will need to go to the iGear website to figure out how to put this set together as well as where to place all the decals.

Assembly is a little tricky, don't expect to open up the box and have an instant G1 diorama. The walls and floors are made up of several panels that connect with tabs. These tabs take some time to get a feel for how they connect. Once together the set is not the most stable, in fact I found that they get knocked apart pretty easily.

The detail of the stickers is very sharp and adds a great Gen 1 feel to the set, unfortunately they do not have a heavy adhesive so you might want to consider some crazy glue for long term display plans.

The Sky Spy has a very thin antenna on it. Be careful taking it out of the plastic or you will snap it off like I did.

For the $119 price point that this set is being sold for, make sure you are prepared to invest some time in assembling and possibly customizing this playset to make it work for your collection.

    Order at BBTS and TFsource.

The iGear website has images of the Classics figures interacting with this set, so here are some images of Generation toys in it:

wow. youd think that for $120 theyd put more effort into making it sturdy and long lasting. i shouldnt have to go to a website for instructions; shouldnt have to apply my own glue to get stickers to stick; shouldnt have to figure out a way to get it stable; shouldnt have to worry bout breaking a thin piece-either make it thicker or dont include it. and it needs another row of floor plates

this things a piece of junk at the price they want. actually, it might be a piece of junk at any price

It looks alright, but just doesn't give off a vibe that it's even close to a $120+ product.

The lack of sticker instructions doesn't upset me. Fragility and instability are concerning, though. Now I'm considering canceling my preorder.

Speaking of preorder, how do you have this already, Super_Megs?

So beautiful it brings a tear to my eye. Well almost.

That is a lot of plastic, a lot of molding and it really looks spot on G1. Guys I think it's a good value as a specialty item. If Hasbro released this it would cost $60 plus. You have to pay more for speciality items like this from small companies that cater to fan's deep desires. This looks so amazing - i don't have room for it - but i LOVE these pics!

It looks fairly interesting, however judging from the mini-review and the pricepoint.. to me personally it will be a pass. If it was less than $100 I would've bought it easily.

I've had it preordered for months now. Since I don't treat any of my 3rd party TF accessorieslike I bought them at Walmart I don't anticipate I'll have any issue with fragility issues.
