First-most: I am not a proclaimed reviewer, nor with this review do I wish to start down that path. I can also be a harsh critic (both good and bad). Please bare with me and my madness

Second: It is no secret to many here that I am not exactly a 'fan' of the company Guilty with the shady past, as they have yet to redeem completely from. So why did I pick up two products from a company I truly care little for? Because my love for FoC/WfC outweighs what ever negativity I may harbor toward this company. That being said, I honestly looked forward toward picking up these two sets.

These are the Nucleon Charge sniper rifles that made an appearance in the FoC game (it's also been monikered as Null Ray on odd occasions, though not sure if that is game official or the gamers/fans' work). These renditions are deco'd to match, as closely as possible, the Takara versions of FoC Jazz and Starscream. They both come packaged in a compact, simple, box with a black styro insert holding the items in place. It is so simple that instructions were printed on the bottom end of the package (which is also non-complex). I honestly believe they did not make the boxes any smaller due to fear that ledger would be too miniscule to comprehend.

Both weapons have the ammo clip positioned to favor a right-sided wield vs. that of a left. You can place it on the left arm and it fits & looks just fine, but for those that prefer the ammo clip facing away from the fig, right side mount is optimal. The plastic material does not feel fragile, not soft (example: the gun barrel won't bend easily), and does not give the appearance that it will break any time soon.

Jazz's gun is pretty simple. The hard part, if any, was removing the fig's original arm from its socket. It's pretty tight at first and a little tricky to pull out (it is recommended facing the arm upwards to facilitate removal). Admittedly, it is easier to place the arm/gun on than vice-versa. Thankfully it is not a fragile process (note: still handle with care).

The color matching is almost perfect. The light grey on the gun's upper arm portion and clip cover match that of Tak's Jazz flawlessly. The pink, however, is just a minor shade lighter than the pink on the fig. The darker grey on the gun does not match with anything on Jazz himself as the fig's darker color is a mix of grey and blue. The differences in shading is apparent in brighter light (direct sunlight for example). In darker lighting it is less noticeable, this holds more true for the pink than the grey.

Regardless of the lack of perfect match colors, the appearance on the fig looks P H E N O M E N A L! Truly emulates the images in the FoC game to the point that I really hope Guilty produces more weapons in this fashion.

Like Jazz's gun, this one is also simple and is added on in the same manner. Additionally, this set comes with a crown akin to that in the FoC game, paying homage to both Coronation Starscreams from the game and the 86' movie. I looked more forward toward this set than I did of Jazz's due to the coloring and crown.

Color match-wise it is roughly the same Jazz's.

It matches the metallic red on Starscream pretty well, but there are parts on the elbow of the gun and the clip cover that are a different shade, almost if a little pink, purple, or both was added in. Though not game breaking, I wished they would of kept the metallic red more uniform to each other. Also like Jazz's gun, the darker grey matches with nothing on the figure. There is also some lavander'ish color in there that somewhat matches with Starscream's inserts (what would be 'high placed nipples' is my best guess, the square inside the metallic red. It is more noticeable in the 2nd pic below). Here too the addition of this arm-weapon looks amazing and the crown itself was icing on the cake. Although I did wish it had more colors added to it (like uses of red to accentuate the use of rubies and gems). Seeing both on Starscream got me all nostalgic to play both FoC and WfC campaign all over again.

Overall the weapons make a very welcome addition to these figures and provide and even more in-game feel. If Guilty continues to provide items as these, makes a tad more effort to match colors better, and continue to stay away from their shady past, I will be more easily inclined toward picking up their product (vs. that of me debating long hours to try so or not)

Hope you enjoyed the review and do not hesitate to ask any question.

Negative. Unfortunately the gunarms do not fit in the spacing the normal arm would go in when transforming toward alt-mode. It is completely impeded for Starscream due to how the arm needs to fold up as well as the tabs on them. For Jazz, not only does the gun barrel stick out too much to pass as an exhaust port, but the clip also obstructs transformation slightly as well as making Jazz lack a rear wheel. Thankfully, the remove of the arm is non-complex process though.
