Fantastic photos, as always! Once my Sigma L comes into stock, it's going into the big order I have on hold. It's going to be an early Christmas for me!
I love this figure and have completely changed my mind about getting him (will buy when he gets to Toy Dojo) but I'm disappointed that this many figures into the line and they still have lousy ankle tilts.
Lousy? Maybe it's just my lack of experience with third party figures, but Sigma L has quite a bit of range for his ankles as far as I can tell. If I have one complaint, it's that I can't move his arms without moving the wings as well, which kinda gets in the way for posing.
Hot damn this is one of my favorite figs ever. As someone who never uses stands, what would be a good stand for tr this guy in both bat and robot modes?
Oh shit, I never even thought of using stands, but when I have time this week, I'm gonna try basically everything I have haha. Also, I love everything about this figure except for the visor part of the headmaster/head. I don't know how I managed to break it within the first hour of having this guy opened, but the clear plastic joint was so tight when I tried getting it back into head mode that it gave way and is now being held on with sticky tack. On the positive side though, I now have the open of sticking it a little higher up so that the visor is worn on dude's forehead if I want. Getting back to the vamp himself, the colours are very vibrant, and this has probably more consistent paintwork/colouring in general than any transforming figure I own. That was the first thing I noticed when pulling it out of packaging, and I love how it reminds me of a video game character come to life, and in the best way. The transformation is clever & honestly makes a very cool bat, and the accessories (rifles) work in a very good way that close combat ones wouldn't have. They even have movable handles & pull off an always open hand very well, regardless of whether or not they're holding something. Sigma L's a figure that's full of welcomed motion (be it visually or straight up articulation wise), and those wings are amazing hah. Yeah, I am a little peeved at how tight the visor joint on the headmaster was on mine, and it would have been nice if we could have gotten a full 180 rotation from the joint attaching said wings to his arms or a full deathscythe hell cloaked mode, but considering how well everything else was done, and that these are really the only complaints I can come up with, I'm more than a fan. Definitely a worthy purchase
Finally opened this guy and he is amazing. Surprisingly large too; dude is about as tall as the recent Hasbro Brainstorm and heavier too. Keep in mind that the visor needs to slide in/out first before pivoting.
The only minor gripe I have with this guy is his shoulder articulation. Everything else from paint, plastic quality, and design are top notch.
I just got this guy last night and Fansproject is phenomenal! The colors and the aesthetics is beyond what I expected! I know the transformation is simple, but just the features and the details just leaves me speechless and 2 thumbs up for FP and their work! Now after their Weird Wolf version of this character.
Just hanging around waiting for Halloween: One of my favorite 3rd party headmasters. Fun transformation in my terms, cool alt mode, got some great colors. Though I do wish the weapons would of been different. Perhaps crossbows instead of guns to go with the theme better.
Has anyone tested a Titans Return headmaster on him or the legends mindwipe? Can that head fit on this?
The more I look at this guy's hollow back in bot mode, the more I am surprised he didnt get panned on release. Wish someone would have come up with something to fill the space.
