Yeah but 1: watching a video ruins some of the magic, and 2: if you've made something so hard to transform that people have to go look for videos, you've done something wrong.

I think I've only had to watch two videos to help with transforms: Wardog because of the shoulders, and Andras because of the feet. And again, the only reason Andras was a problem was because his feet were mis-transformed out of the box.

My point is that instructions are usually very poor, often have steps missed, etc, and that applies to pretty much every company. it's not so much about "having" to use a video, as much as it is knowing the best resource.
But only you know what works best for you, carry on.

Oh I agree that the instructions are often poor. But that just lends to my point that the company has done something wrong...whether it's poor engineering, or poor instructions.

Again, my original point was that the OP was saying that he didn't understand why people were complaining about the feet when it was so easy for him...and the primary reason is because many of our feet were mis-transformed out of the box. Perhaps his was too and he was just more clever than us, but I'm assuming his were just correct and therefore the instructions made more sense.

id like to think that its just poor instructions, no clue though. (i quit reading them long ago.)
i was picturing the root cause of shitty instructions as information getting lost in translation from designer/engineer to artist/print people, or whatever the line is.
which is why i love the direct approach here of having the designer actually make the instructions, and removing all the middlemen.

Is Andras supposed to come with the Apollyon shoulder pieces? I ask because my figures didn't. Anyone with an order from CapturedPrey actually get those pieces?

Got mine the other day, opened tonight. Long story short - VERY impressed. Easily on par with official MPs.

The foot thing was a bit tricky, but knowing what to do from the get-go, it wasn't bad at all. Similar to difficult parts I've had even with official MPs, though I can't think of any offhand... Certainly not like the nightmare that was Wardog's shoulders! (A figure I still love, though transforming him literally took me days.)

No QC issues to speak of, either. Bit of that dusty stuff Skullface was talking about, no biggie. Very pleased with this, my first XTransbots purchase since Glider! I will DEFINITELY be getting their Cyclonus. Maybe Galvatron, too, if Takara doesn't do one.

The ones that Uncle Billy has sent out so far did not include the new shoulders, so wouldn't surprise me that there's random lots that do and don't have them.

I figured the shoulder pieces were a standard factory issue. My Andras was sealed with the XTransbot tape, so I'm not thinking the Apolyon shoulder joints are retailer specific.

I do not have apollyon, so when my Scourge arrives (So long as it HAS the parts) I'll send them to you. What do you consider a fair price?
