Wait .. Wha? Opinions and all of that but what? What are you comparing Hasbro's offering to then? Because well, MT's is pretty much like it jumped from the comics. Hasbro's bot mode is .. I don't even know. Don't know what kind of look they were going for but completely misses the IDW mark.

Maybe, I mean, plausibly, if you were to show both to a non-Transformers fan; they may think the alt mode looks a bit better? *confused*

That alt mode you're dissing happens to be completely accurate to his comic alt mode - the design the figure is based on. While hasbros is 100% wrong.

Also his articulation is vastly vastly superior, he even has a freaking ab crunch. He's the most articulated mini bot their is and every single one of his accessories is pulled right out of the comic. Hasbros is ok but beyond the basic appearance of the bot mode it completely fails to be "IDW Swerve" in the way MT's does. Which is suppose to be the entire point of both figures.

So no, you are wrong, he's worth every single cent and then some.

I don't think his legs are fully extended either.

Yeah, That Trash-Talk/Cog-Wheel pack is easily my favorite purchase this year.
Alt mode is great. Hasbro's looks good but doesn't come close.

    Quick Ravage compare:

It's shocking how small MP Ravage is compared to the others.

    From left to right:
    G1
    Henkei (with Hound)
    MP
    Device Label
    Device Label without USB

I would of preferred they didn't integrate the missiles and made him a bit bigger.

Here's an old scale comparison pic:

I didn't have Cog-Wheel then but there's been enough pics of that guy already;)

Maybe its just me, but that SXS Variable figure looks so out of place with MP.

It's not just you. He's the right height for MP but that's it. That pic is just for scale. I no longer own SXS Contin... whatever.

I wish I had the spare money to pick up some g1 figures solely for having them side by side with their modern counterparts.

I wholeheartedly approve of this thread and appreciate everyone who's sharing photos.

If I can find a good photo spot, maybe I'll take shots of my Megatron and Shockwave shelves.
