Headrobots still exists? Hopefully this does well enough for them they can get back in the game and release their Darksol and Savant.

 

Just posted that in the BBTS thread in the Toy forum after the email popped into my inbox.

What a surprise, they're finally back.

 

So they decided to go ahead with the Black Zarak upgrade sets? Too little too late.

 

I'm glad reports of Headrobots demise were premature! I still want the Iguana headmaster...

Looks like they're selling this upgrade set in parts using the Crazydevy sales plan where funds from the first set pays for the manufacturing of the 2nd and so forth...

 

So are all those Blackzarak parts included or is this just the claws/neck? Confused.

 

Just claws and neck specifically colored for the Botcon Scorponok figure for now.

 

Damn, I don't have the botcon figure but this is a cool set. Might have to paint up my Energon one. Too bad this doesn't solve the missing headmaster though

I was hoping for a headmaster like the tfcc scorponok's with the updated face...I have g1 scorponok, will probably buy maketoy's scorponok and don't need this...

I wonder if anyone is gonna buy this, cause its a lot of cash for a garage kit add on. To anyone buying it top price, getcha head checked.

 

Damn it, I sold my Cybertron Dark Scorponok because it seemed like their upgrade was never coming out. I bet it will now. Ah well.

Yes, this is just pack 1 of 5, this first pack is the most expensive because the size of the parts and amount of parts( 8 parts total), other part kits (chrome leg armors, scorpion legs, weapons, etc..) will vary in price depending on complexity and size but nothing should be as pricey as this one.

We are producing these using small-run tooling because the figure they go on is so limited, we do not plan on making very many of these kits.

How about they release that Highbrow Upgrade Kit for Skyhammer first!

 

I was planning to use the kit on the regular Energon figure, not the Botcon exclusive, and I suppose there will be more like me, but no way at $45.
