While I respect peoples opinions, to me the Hasbro Dinobots look like complete and total shit just like all the movie designs. Compare that to the awesomeness that is FansProject... Shit vs awesome. Tough call...

It's not a comparison that's worth bothering with. Budgets and target audiences cause vastly different goals and designs.

 

I voted Fansproject, but in fairness, a $35 figure vs a $103 figure is hardly a contest. I'd say every 3 votes for Columpio is 1 vote.

Hmm didn't vote, since I'm buying both anyway. Finally get a classics Sludge from Fansproject, and Frankly I could give a shit about other's opinion because I like the Knight motif of the AoE dinobots

 

I am highly considering him, so I can have 3 sludges, the FT / FP and PX. Just want to see how well the dino mode is, especially the neck articulation. That, or I will be getting both their Slag / Snarl. I NEED some PX goodies in my life, I got nothing, but really want either Sludge / Slag / Snarl. Not sure about their Swoop yet, though it has much better colors than the one from FP.

My choice is the only one within my budget, which is going to be Slog.

I blew my third party purchase budget for the next several months on Sigma L.

All right, fair enough.

As to which is better... well since I'm a classics collector I have to go with FP's but I am planning/hoping on getting all 3 three versions! Columpio will go with the recent Target two pack Grimlock (with Silver Knight Optimus), Planet X's Neptune will go with Caelus and Takara's FOC Grimlock and Slog will of course go with the SDCC Dinobots (if I can get a set).

 

You may want to save Hasbro vs 3p for Superion.. Its a lot closer than this
