The back drop display is printed from tv show shots.

 

Logos on the wings and torso/fuselage. The reds looks deeper, dunno if that was photo processing or you did some painting.

And he's being held up by the world's largest drinking glass.  

 

The red is photo processed and it's not a drinking glass  , it's a tennis balls bag.

you missed the better part, a part that makes him look good, and it's this which makes that you don't notice it!

Yess!, you got it, I made a custom fake nose cone for the jet mode, he look a lot better with it, this is the same pic with the released Kronos.

Hey guys,I have been going back and forth debating whether to get Kronos or not,after all the love/hate posts about him I am skeptical of ordering him on BBTS.About the only thing I am not worried about is his price and by extension his size,he basically looks like he was made for the MP Line and taller than MP Optimus,and seems to be right in the range of them.

But the problem I am having is with all the breakage issues,I have read countless posts that say he is basically a POS,so my question is should I just take the plunge and get him?.Also note I have Generations Leader Jetfire on his way to me,should I just be happy with him?.Thanks Guys.

Update: I forgot but as for Gen. Jetfire he is not necessarily going in my Masterpiece collection,but maybe my Classics one to replace my first version.

 

Those countless posts seem to be by the same handful of people over and over and over. Looking at unique names, it feels like a lot more people are happy with him than not. That said, there are QC issues there. No one got one with perfect paint, and you do have a chance of getting a dud like some people did. I personally love mine and I think it would have been absolutely worth it to get him when he first came out. Now, I wonder if sellers were checking their boxes and sending out the best ones first and only have junkers left.

 

Kronos is king, long live the king.

I saw that BBTS had him for sale in a substandard box and was reading about the QC issues. I like the look of the figure though. Is he worth the gamble or should I just save my pennies for the FT one next year

 

Keep in mind that BBTS is very, very good about returns, exchanges, etc. so if something is wrong with your Kronos they'll take care of you. So I'd say if you have any interest at all it's well worth checking one out from BBTS and deciding for yourself what you think of the toy.

 

Happy with mine, at full price.

 

BY itself the figure is not great and does have some QC issues. When he is stand By my other Masterpiece figures he looks great and It has completely grown on my and I love him. If I had to make the choice I would buy him again in a second. I am not really in to waiting and who knows if FT will even put one out. Just remember this is from I guy who never transforms his figures but I would say take a gamble. Just my 2 cents

 

Thanks guys. I always wanted that type of figure for my collection and if BBTS has good return policy then I'm gonna go for it. I've read about the issues so I don't intend to go wild with him lol. Just wanted to display him alongside my other MP's

same price, but free shipping... its where i got mine and i love it! no regrets. had to do a little tweaking on it/ overspray cleanup, tightening a few screws, etc... but nothing outrageous and not too far from what i have to do w/ true MP figures.
