I think I'll vote now since I got mine. Since you've already read my post, there's no need for me to reiterate it here :D

My seemingly only real issue is the toes do not fit correctly when they fold in for jet mode. The white plastic piece that is the ratchet system is slightly too wide and does not fit into the gap provided for in the metal toe. Paint apps are mostly decent, a few spots where i wish it were cleaner. I dunno...I just cannot decide if I like him or not. I think I could get store credit at tfsource if I bitched enough about the feet. I think if the backpack were made with much better plastic and the paint on it were better I wouldnt even be wishy washy. What to do?

My kronos is pretty good. Some parts are slightly not aligned but can barely notice. The paint on this thing is not great. I wouldnt call it a masterpiece material. Just masterpiece size. IMO better than good overall. Just not going to blow ur mind.

I don't know about everyone else but there are a lot of things I like about him. First I feel like I can actually play with it and not just pose it like many of my MP and 3rd party. The fact that he is mostly white by character design means I really don't have to worry about stickers and paint wearing off. He feels pretty solid, one of my wing ratchets doesn't make the ratchet sound and not sure why. Hopefully, that eill be addressed.

I have many characters I love the design but am afraid to handle them too much. I think this one struck a great balance between cartoon accuracy, playability, cost and display astetics. I know a lot of people use quake wave as the 3rd party masterpiece but in all fairness, he is completely purple plastic and the only paint is on his backpack which yes, is a backpack that comes off for transformation. I've had so many issues with 3party figures qc, I would say this by far is among the better ones. My mech ideas demolition crew came with two left hands and are loose as can be, my quake wave had a cracked chest screw point from over tightening at factory, hurcules is a floppy mess, thundercracker mp has a fin that falls off constantly, cubex huff had spree marks on tires but was very nice. Mp04 prime has a gas tank that is crooked under spring pressure but straight on the other side, igear cone heads have a slide up piece on legs that just fall off, mp grimy has floppy hips and legs. The list goes on.

I just make them perfect as I have time, coming up with fixes and researching others. All I am saying is this is not even close to the middle in my range of bad qc issues. Just seems many are more upset with this one than other releases I've seen here but I don't think it makes as much sense if others have had similar experiences or worse with other manufacturers as I have. I REALLY APPRECIATE THAT SOMEONE MADE THIS TOY, now my rebranded Bandai Robotech look alike toy can be laid to rest.

I couldn't answer if I'm satisfied or not, because I keep on flip flopping. If there was a "Somewhat satisfied" option, that would be perfect. When I first got him, I was somewhat satisfied, then I tightened some of his joints, and was more satisfied, and then I got around to transforming him, and WOW!!! Was that ever a scary endeavor! I don't think I'll ever try transforming him again! Didn’t draw blood like other people have, but I was so scared that something was going to snap at any second (I actually fully transformed him, feet and all). It also took me a while to figure out why his chest piece wasn’t coming undone, until I figured out that the nosecone wasn’t pushed in all the way, and was sticking out ever so slightly, so that it would catch and not flip up.
In the end, I think I’d equate this whole fiasco to a movie being over hyped as the best movie ever, so your expectations are overinflated. So when you get around to actually seeing it, it’s a good movie, just not the best thing since sliced bread.
I like him, and I'm somewhat satisfied, but I just think my expectations weren't realistic, which totally isn't Aarafat's fault.

No, nothing major. I will say that after handling him for two days, he's not tight, and does feel like a KO. There are gaps everywhere, but that didn't bother me all that much, because he still held together pretty well (still a little floppy, post tightening, but acceptable). But yeah, transforming the legs and feet, scary stuff!
I like him, but again, I think I would have liked him better if a) he wasn't as over hyped as he was, and b) I didn't see FP's Dinos on the horizon.
So I'll try to control my expectations going forward, and just hope that I am pleasantly surprised when Giga Snarl and Omnigonix Sunstreaker are released.
Thanks for putting this together, I think it made me appreciate him just a little more (unfortunately, still on the fence though). :)

Thanks. He's not bad, just not the second coming. Gaps "everywhere" may have been a little harsh, but left knee (tightening it did no good, and it looked like it may have widened a tad after transforming it), both forearms (right is worse than the left, where the panel that flips open to hide the fist doesn't sit flush), and the left side of the crotch (it's not flush, so you can see the small peg that fits in there).
On the plus side, I love his face sculpt, and that turned out to be better in person than any picture I've seen so far.
One other item that is just sort of an observation, his hands are kind of cool, but did he really need that last movable digit? It's so small that it's kind of useless and ends up as being just another part that could go wrong (from other people's comments, it has popped off, and I can imagine that sucker being harder to find than an affordable Toyworld Grindrod).

Box was torn and dinged up, joints are tight, minor paint wear / mold flash, but the main thing is it's missing a piece! One of the parts that covers the side in robot mode is missing. I'm disappointed because I usually get lucky, hopefully this issue will get resolved, it sucks that the figure isn't complete right out of the box after dropping $160.

lets just say...overall, it's a horrible quality and does not deserve to be part of the masterpiece collection.

I still don't have mine either. Not a peep from BBTS. I jumped around a bit on Kronos though so I'm probably on the back of the bus of getting it.

that is true for the bad ones, but if you got a good one it looks to fit very well into a masterpiece display.

really we seem to have a split between the good and bad.
