    I predicted this a long time ago i.e. these guys are going to come from behind and come up with a gestalt that beats most people's expectations.

    Ok... with that Prime-ified head... I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if a Radicon, or Toyworld itself... don't wind up pulling a Masquerade:

    That is to say... redeco these as the Autobots that masqueraded as Menasor for that one G1 episode. (And apparently could form a Gestalt too!) If the alt modes bug folks, they could allude that they're in the Machine Wars universe, where our favorite Bots and Cons sport rather atypical or even unusual alt modes. (Plus Bumblebee I guess, since there are *six* bots here... whoops.)

    Definitely look forward to the TW Combiner vs PF M3 Combiner shots from folks in the next year!

    I've never seen better proportions on a TP combiner. Now wishing I had picked up Grindrod when it was still to be found.

    Wow, that actually looks great! I was holding out on this set to see how the gestalt mode would turn out.

    That's a very impressive combiner; great proportions! Definitely exciting for those getting all of these. I love that Goldbug. I may need to get him instead of Hasbro's!

    Small car is goldbug, bigger car is freeway, truck is wideload.

    Also man does the combined mode look good. Goldbug seems to form the back half of the torso. Love how they've done that.

    It looks decent but I probably won't bother getting them at this point. Far too much already on the radar.

    Sigh. The combiner looks neat, but it carries no nostalgic value for me. I really just wanted media-accurate individual Throttlebots. Grindrod was good, and Aurora was okay. Trace and the rest completely diverge from the spirit of the Throttlebot team. Wideload is an absolute monster. These are supposed to be little guys that look the same and get their asses kicked in the Headmasters episodes.

    That...turned out pretty damn impressive.

    I haven't been, and won't be, buying them for the combined mode, but seeing what it combines into now, that's a cool option all things considered.

    Individual forms look nice too. Pretty damn cool. Hopefully the next one isn't that far off.
