You can see Goldbug on the upper back of the combined mode (would be awesome if he houses the head, but I can't tell). If you look closely at the second pic, you can see the side mirrors of his alt mode near the back of gestalt shoulders.

Toyworld reissued Hegemon so it's not like they aren't aware of the demand for their figures. Now that this combined modes been revealed and renewed interest it would be strange not to do another run.

 

I hope so. Grindrod being easier to get would help persuade me to pick these guys up. As it is, if I have to hunt for Grindrod and pay a premium for him, it's a pass.

He's on the back, you can see his car doors behind the combiner head in the above shot.

And yeah I think davids right, the knees and the collar/shoulder joint/head area looks like they aren't part of Wideload.

 

The feet look like they have nowhere to go, leftover parts

The body looks like it will completely fold out like an origami box and then goldbugs fills in some emptiness

Shoulders are a bit high

Otherwise I dig it

Hey now... we can't all be math-a-magicians, Mr "High-School Diploma". Besides, anyone willing to use a second-tier Married with Children character's identity can say whatever he wants. Logical or otherwise.

Just a guess on height but I'm saying right around a foot tall... maybe thirteen inches.

But man, MP Throttlebots, I don't care what anyone says to argue that.

 

That's what I've been waiting for. I'm in now. Just bought aurora and trace. Now the search for grind rod begins, and the pre-ordering and the waiting.

Does anyone know if this is even supposed to be anyone or if it's just a cool looking combiner? I don't remember a car combiner like this in any of the g1.

holly shit that is impressive, except for the skeletal elbow joints, which is very lazy, but still, wow, this one really impressed me, cool.

 

There's a listing on eBay for Grindrod at 160 shipped. That's the only thing I've found so far.

 

OH HELL YES. It's so nice to have your faith and investment rewarded. This guy looks amazing, and I really hope they release the rest of the figures soon.

My one complaint is that my Grindrod's right arm at the shoulder is incredibly loose and floppy on the ball joint. I've tried nail polish but even that didn't really help.

Still, i'm all in on this baby.
