Anyone know what happened with the whole send a picture and your contact info on the slip thing for g2 car crash? Just wondering what the purpose of that was. Just kinda a random request with no follow up... Like they got all this paper work, and it's in a box somewhere or used as lining for the Badger's holding crate.

 

Was this through A3U? Same folks that run FPC?

No one should be surprised that nothing has come of it.

 

Actually there were plans for it and as far as I know there still are.

A lot of these things were things I was taking care of while I was with A3U (Kar Krash was an A3U exclusive, not FPC) and after I left the company things got a little sidetracked.

I do still speak with the A3U team and they have said that they do intend on doing something very special for the ones that sent in the photo of the opened figure. This was always the plan, kinda a reward for your sacrifice of opening this very rare figure. The number of people who sent in the photo was less than 200 so whatever will happen, it will be in very small numbers.

There were less than 500 of this figure made so to those of you who opened it.....more power to you!

i can't say im shocked mind you....

i wonder what the plan was...a sticker book? an add on to a figure you don't own...i wonder what genius thing the people that did this were supposed to get but never will.

i tell ya this is one company where a subscription or a mail away service just will never work for. they don't seem to be as commited to these projects as they claim to be.

 

I bought a toy and took a picture with it, and sent it to the guys that helped bring it to life and distribute it. The secret was to put a stamp on the envelope and then put it in a box in front of the house. Heard of email before but relatively new to this, so I wasn't sure I was doing it right. Pro tip: some of these boxes have a flag on the side with some articulation on the base that allows it to pivot. You put the flag in the upright position, and it makes the letter you put in the box disappear after some arbitrary window of time. Freaky shit. The thing about being a genius is that you have to share your knowledge. It's our duty to mankind. I love you all.

 

Did anything ever come of the Kar Krash mail in thing?
