Is the Stage 5 the best to get for this kind of figure? Any other suggestions?

Just got mine and opened it up.

First impressions are it's nice, interesting design and much easier to transform than the previous two.

Mine has a lot of weak joints though. The hips especially have much too wide a range of movement in between ratchets. The wings also seem too heavy for the shoulder joint. Weak joints have been an issue for every one of these so far so I'm a little disappointed to not see improvements by this point.

The target master is straight forward and better design than the previous ones. better options for the kibble.

Can the dino head look straightforward in flight mode?

Where did you get yours? I hadn't heard of any retailer having a Volar yet. Overall is he a step up, step down, or sideways for Cubrar?

Are his wing placement similar to Sigma L?

Almost, the dino head has a very large range of movement. it's on a ball joint which is somewhat restricted as well there is another joint below which gives it the up and down movement.

I got mine from Action Robo, for whatever reason it shipped early. I think the design is great but the execution suffers a little here and there.

his wings and arms are on a bar that swivels. so one is in the front and the other is in the back. it's a bit different from Sigma L

Thanks for all the feedback, glad you got it early! As far as the looseness of the joints are concerned, does it seem like it would be easily fixed like Columpio (via glue/polish/gorilla tape methtod)?

Nice. Hope this means all action robo orders are being fulfilled and the US retailers not far behind!

On mine the loose joints are ratchets unlike Columpio's which were ball joints. unless the process to beef them up is the same. When I speak of them being loose I mean there is a wide range of play between ratchets. For instance when I pose the legs there is enough play that he can easily go into a WIDE A stance, the wings also are heavy and the joint has some play.

But still despite this he is able to maintain poses well and balance even on his tiny little dino feet with wings spread out.

Speaking of which, it came with replacement hips for Columpio

    Thanks for the info.

Pls explain what the replacement hips for Columpio. Was it in the box of Volar, or separately given. Is it different then existing hips, ie is it ratcheted instead of ball joint? Is it more effective / tight?

I will have to double check when I get home. They were included inside the box, in a plastic bag with an instruction sheet to replace them. I did not give them a good look over but they seemed pretty stiff and might have been ratchets instead of ball joints but I will confirm tonight.

If they are Columpio just addressed his biggest criticism. Other that that and some wrist swivel he was awesome. I can live with out the wrist swivel.

I was under the impression that Fansproject rarely, if ever, did this. So that is a nice surprise and glad they are listening to feedback (albeit quietly)

I'm with you. I think the overwhelming meh the general community has had about the LER guys compared to their earlier releases may have given them pause. With MMC, UT, and MT all chomping at their heels as the best place to get CHUG they may have needed to rethink their ideas about not addressing concerns the community has.

Possibly. We need for it to be confirmed by LanceZzz, and a picture or two would be nice as well, not necessary, but nice.
