the prices were insanely good. i'm a bit jelly i coudln't wait for sales. haters aside dai stack is a pretty awesome release. so what if he is oversized for mp...he isn't "magnus" anyway.

Well.... I'm glad I only paid $99 for this. Sure he's big, but feels sooo very cheap. And he might as well have been packaged in a brown paper bag. That's definitely a one time use box. Last time I buy anything KFC


...eh, he looks good on a shelf anyway.

 

For the test shots at least I've heard their Blaster is supposed to be better. I'm not planning to get him, but if they are improving I am looking at their Junkions down the line.

 

Don't get me wrong, he looks good, but TFC's Hydrant (JUST Hydrant) weighs as much if not more than him. And Hydrant is like half the size. Like I said though, I got it cheap, so no hurt feelings here lol

 

Actually, it was noted in the item listing that this would be the case. BBTS may have chosen to fill some orders using stock on hand, but the way this and a handful of the other items were set up, the distributor offered us the special pricing and we were to sell, and report back to get what was needed from them specifically to match demand. This is why "Please note, this item will ship in December!" was in bold text in the descriptions of those items.

Looking back now, I would have not bought Citizen Stack, but this Dai Stack and the MP Ultra Magnus.

 

I have Citizen Stack and DAI Stack. Love them both. Still getting MP22. I'll display them all together. And maybe, eventually, track down a MP-02 to display with them as well.

Just got Dia Stack. I'm pretty favorably impressed. In fact, I think I may just skip MP-22 and get Citizen Stack instead, especially with the SXS head. Yes, it's light, but I don't think that's a bad thing. As big as it is, it would be hard to support itself if it was much more massive. It's very visually striking; it helps that I'm a sucker for Diaclone homages. About the only downside is that it isn't hiding a blue MP-10 in there somewhere.

Quite late for the party- just got mine over the weekend with the mandatory SXS head upgrade.

The gun is a little loose when in vehicle mode. Left robot shoulder a little more loose than the right. Also had to tighten one of the swiveling parts on the starboard side of the truck so I won't have a plastic piece flapping near the robot's underarm.

I'd say it's a good value for your money.

 

I'm with you. I just think Citizen Stack looks better. It helps that he reminds me of how Magnus was drawn in the UK Marvel Comics, which is my favorite version of him.
I got Dai Commander recently, and Stack has definitely made it onto my short list.

 

Would anyone be interested in buying a generally mint but out of box DAI Stack from me for cheap? Includes box (but no insert) all papers, parts and the SXS upgrade head. Nothing broken or stress marked etc.

Damn he is a gorgeous toy. Love the chunk, the proportions, everything about it really. Looked great with Optimus on the shelf, and with his RID Magnus/Prime combined brother too.
