    Sonuva!

    Well!

Looks like they haven't solved their gappy elbows thing, the torso could be pretty flat, the arm bots look simple compared to the nice and beefy legs and overall he seems to lack a little in the "tech" department for an advanced gestalt like Computron ... but ... sheeit ... OK, I am definitely in for more news.

    Oh dear.

Looks great but at this stage I'm still MTing him.

Bummed that like predaking computron only has had the one paint scheme(and shattered glass) so I can't justify a future repaint purchase

Man, if they can fix the shoulders, this thing will be incredible!!

Wow. I love how clear it reads. Maketoys is just too busy

The only thing I like on this one over MT's is this one appears to have a bit of a neck at least. But those shoulders are too busy and the arms seem to suffer the Airburst syndrome i.e. various stuff just hangs there without pegs, etc.

The more I look at it though, the more the gappy elbows bug me. It's really lazy engineering and very, very out of place on Computron. Even more so than on WB-01.

Huh. Interesting development. I'm not a fan of this company's design aesthetic, but it looks like a nice enough design for people that do.

Personally, it doesn't even come close to being as cool as MT's Quantron design. But it provides a nice alternative to those who don't share my love of FP/MT.

Really curious about their choice to reveal this instead of their WB-02 design. Getting ahead of yourselves much?

Well, they've succeeded in getting me to stop considering Quantron. I was kind of iffy about Quantron because it's too small for my tastes and has some odd proportions, but I still thought it was a great effort and was dithering about whether to just pick it up regardless. But now, I think that WB-03 is more up my alley though still far from perfect.

I actually have a pretty good feeling about how WB-02 will turn out, based on how WB-01 and WB-03 are like.

I love it. I have a lot more confidence that the individual warbotron robots will look much more like the source material. Good to see options for geewuners like me and classics fans.

    Amazing!! gap haters gonna hate!
I hope they go on with all possible combiners in this MP scale: predacons, protectobots, contructicons, etc, etc.

Hm, the proportions do seem a bit better for Warbotron, but MT is going to get my money just because he'll be out this year :)

What's up with Strafe and Nosecone trading places (combiner left arm/right arm)? Is that a toy vs. cartoon thing?

I'll make standard comment #1. I wish it was a bit smaller (Deluxe limbs on a Voyager body). Not interested in a toy that Masterpiece size.

    Agreed.

Luckily for you (and others who say it's too big) Maketoys is making a smaller one.

    Everyone wins.

Now let's see a huge ass Menasor please!!
