I can't explain why, but I LOVE the FP one. Tonight I will finally get to open my SDCC FOC Bruticus and put Echo's upgrade kit on it. I'm very anxious to see how much I like that version.

Personally, I have 0 interest in Warbotron. He won't scale well with my other 3P combiners and the only way I am buying another Bruticus is if/when the MP version is released.

You do know an official MP would be bigger than Warbotron....don't you? :lol

It all depends on what you wanna display with at the end of the day.

Still waiting. Too much Hasbro turd polishing going on in the FP and FoC upgrade sets and I just don't like Warbotron.

I love Colossus, and he worked as a great placeholder these last few years...but right now it's all about Warbotron. That is going to be one impressive beast.. and the individual figures look like they'll hold up great on their own too. Not a big fan of the FOC one.. I don't even have mine on the shelf anymore.. looks better with the 3p addons, but still nothing to write home about.

I'm going Warbotron and selling my FP Bruticus & Superion sets in my B/S/T thread right now. I AM, however, hoping to hear from Takara that they'll do an MP Bruticus soon. If that happens, then I'm waiting for the official version, but I'm not holding my breath. Warbotron, for me, is the best quality and scales best with my MP collection and TFC Hercules.

I'm selling off my extensive 'Classic-verse' (aka CHUG) collection and going for quality over quantity at this point. I love Classics, but I needed to make a decision and commit to one line and that line is MP for me. And for now, Warbotron is about as close to MP as we're going to get.

There all different aesthetics, and when it's all said and done I will have them all. But, Warbotron is King right now. Of course I would love to see an official Takara Masterpiece Bruticus.

Warbotron is the definitive Bruticus for me.

Soldiers based on Military vehicles should have bigger robot modes and look really tough and armed to the teeth.

The fact they are all Voyager scale is great to me.

since the 80's I've always wanted massive combiner robots to tower over everybody else in my collection just like on TV. This Version Of Bruticus will be posed with my Generations figures. same with my Feral Rex

I'm still technically in for Warbotron, but I'm taking a wait-and-see approach for the next bots since my Air Burst came to me with a number of annoying qc issues.

I'm also in for the Microblaze set for the FOC Bruticus... I'm almost more excited for that over the Warbotron... almost.

I'd be willing to get two more Brutici...an updated, whole new 5 member team from Fansproject, and a WWII one also. In fact I made a post about it in a thread last year. Here was my idea for them. The theme would be that each member would be a vehicle from a different nation during WWII rather than them all being one or two.

    Onslaught
Onslaught should be an American M25 Tank Transporter. A large transport truck with a 40ton hauling capability nicknamed "Dragon Wagon" by the US Army. A workhorse that took US Army tanks all over Europe.

    Swindle
Swindle, instead of being a Willy's Jeep, should be a German Sd.Kfz 222 armored car. One of the most recognizable German vehicles of WWII, the Sd.Kfz 222 was a light armored scout car, that mounted a KwK 30 L/55 20mm cannon, and a 7.92mm MG34 machinegun. This class of vehicle was produced from 1935 through 1944.

    Blast Off
Blast Off I think is easy. He would be a British Gloster Meteor jet plane. The first operation Allied jet plane, first flown in 1943 and introduced in 1944. A rather effective jet fighter with an armament similar to that of the Me-262.

    Brawl
Brawl should be a Japanese Type-4 Chi-To medium tank. Only 4 prototypes were produced before the war ended. The Type-3 Chi-Nu and the Type-4 Chi-To tanks were the first Japanese tanks to match the Sherman tank in their capabilities, but the Type 3 never saw combat, and neither did the 4 prototype Type 4s.

    Vortex
Finally, since Vortex is a helicopter, and helicopters are a ground attack vehicles, I propose that Vortex be a Russian Ilyushin IL-2M Sturmovik. A legendary ground attack aircraft known by many names...Ilyusha, The Flying Tank, and The Flying Infantryman are some of them. A rugged and durable fighter known to have survived damage that would've outright destroyed lesser aircraft.

I'm going FOC but if I could justify the price I'd go Warbtron. If price is a concern go FOC since you have the core set already.
