But it's been talked about for soooo long. I didn't consider myself a "3rd party expert", but the listing for Scoria X has been around so long. You didn't question what the X meant? I know I did. You seem to fly off the handle sometimes lol

I have no problem mate. Your comment speaks for itself. You really should read out loud your comment before you make RASH decisions to post it.....no seriously, read it again, it's funny and provided great laughs.

The point is that FTs hasn't sprung anything on anyone. They announced the figures years ago, showed pictures of X Soar months ago, and people have been talking about them all over the place for quite a while, including on a site you frequent. What more do you want FTs to do? Call you to let you know? Shoot you a personal email? I just don't know what else they are supposed to do.

You as a consumer have to take some responsibility and do a bit of research. Five minutes would have been all you needed. Were you unaware of the other X versions of the dibots that have been released previously? I suppose if you were completely unaware that Scoria and Sever have both already had x versions released you could have been caught unaware...but it's hard to be really sympathetic when the company did everything they could to let consumers know X versions were on the way.

Looks like you made 4 great purchases if 4 of those 5 are Scoria / Soar / Sever and Stomp.

Now don't forget, next one is FT Grinder (Grimlock), and PF-1 (FT Slag #2), at end of year, then next year, get FT Grinder X and PF-1X, so you have the complete sets.

Then, once you have completed the sets, then you have my permission to retire. Now go go go, and buy buy buy, time's awasting!!!

I've Got Slag & Snarl X versions plus oversize Grimlock (painted the blue black). Sludge X is now ordered but I think there is enough shinyness on normal Red Swoop that I don't need the X version in this case.

I had one of the hinges crack on the gray part of my Soar (the gray part near the pin), on the chrome wings. The gray plastic part basically tore vertically an inch long. Still stays together for now.
Anybody have a spare set of chrome wings, or better yet just one that they would be willing to part with? Don't really want to use the silver ones and swapping the gray parts out isn't an option because I can't get to the pin. It's covered at one end due to how the part is designed.

Why not contact dalianjj for a replacement? Even the toon Soar is possible to get replacements for, since it's being reissued...

I'm selling Soar. He has a dash of blue paint across the bridge of his (happy face) nose. I've also performed fixes on his joints and gold tabs - which are missing the chrome in places, as a result. PM if interested.

Just got my Soar and, I was curious, anyone else have problems with his elbow joints being too loose? I mean his shoulders hold fine, but trying to keep his arms bent like he's slashing with his sword or bracing his missile is a crapshoot for me.

Are there any improvements in the second run of Soar? I see some first runs for sale, and I'm reminded of how the first run Quake Waves were superior to the reissues. I could hold off a month to get the reissue, but I'm not sure if the few first runs I'm seeing for sale will be available then. Thanks!

Yup, "August" is in air quotations, like pretty much every third party ETA.

We don't know for sure? At least, I don't recall any such talk. The toon Soar re-release didn't really come with a huge official announcement; preorders just started showing up at retailers it'd previously sold out at.
