Sorry to be that guy, but something looks off on this, maybe the face, maybe the size. But something doesnt really feel dead on here like before.

Anyone have a G1 animation side by side? Maybe I am wrong, but this seems off.

 

it looks good to me. the pteranodon torso looks a bit square-ish and blocky since the neck/head seems to be resting above the torso rather than "growing out" from it like the G1 toy. That's about all I can think of.

 

Looks cool to me. Only thing kinda irking me is the loads of molded detail, but it is done very well. Nice job guys *thumbs up*

Yeah, I don't know about this guy.

I have a custom that tigerblade built me. I thought this would blow it out of the water, but it's on par with TBs work.

The chest looks weird. The alt mode chest looks off. I hope FT is not rushing At this point.

I may like this when the final comes out, like I did on Quakewave, but I am not immediately preordering this at the moment. I may wait till I see the reviews.

Not to mention that face, it's off.

What's "off" about it? It looks just like the cartoon. Swoop's a grumpy looking robot with a rectangle on his forehead, so is this figure. I think you're basing your expectations on someone's custom and that the custom's a little off.

Edit- Waitaminute... Weren't you the guy who complained that your Shockwave custom you bought was better than Quakewave? Is this the same guy who built that custom?

The only real big differences, Alucard, seem to be the dino neck and perhaps the robot face. I think the rest is spot on.

 

Yeah, I think it is the face that looks off. Maybe too squished or something.

BTW, I cannot see spending the same price as Scoria on this. Not by a long shot.

I don't know about you guys but I'm gonna be doing a happy dance at work all night long now as I drool over the new prototype and the new silhouettes. And I think I called soar for the name... lol. Or was it soarer? I don't care close enough.

 

After seeing this, I hope DacaToys makes MP Megatron.

looks spot on to me. i can see someone is going through the
"i have this already" complex he went through 2 years ago with the purple guy. and this guy is even more spot on than that guy. lol. btw, i see a waist joint though seems the beak will get in the way as usual.

 

looks good but agree he is no scoria. what bugs me is the chin bump they molded on in bot mode. also alt mode neck and feet look kinda weird. neck is a bit scrawny and feet just look weird. it might be the angle
