lolwut? Calves are different, outer legs are different, one has the fins behind the head while the other has the nosecone which changes the silhouette even at the waist. The kibble on the arms might be detachable weapons that were left off of the other, but either way, I'm not sure how anyone can honestly look at those two side by side and think "nope, can't tell them apart". Same heads?!? Not even close

I know the clone concept is very difficult to pull off, but when it fails, it falls into the "best left forgotten" category rather than the "ok, decent try" category. Even the clone issues notwithstanding, the ball joints for the legs are both unsightly and a terrible design. Something tells me that they're trying to pull this concept off with limited talent and resources, and it shows - badly.

Those crazy joints let them make massive kicks.

Is it my imagination or does the lion actually have a "2" on it's back? Maybe it is a Voltron lion? That makes him the red lion! Maybe it's a packin bonus Voltron build-a-figure?

"Anyone alse get one cloudraker leg and one fastlane leg?"

That looks much more like the voltron lions than it does ravage.
I also love how this is the FUCKITEVERYTHINGX2TOYSGOESHERE thread, ha.

Edit- and yes, I see the "2" on him as well, which pretty much seals the voltron thing for me.

^ So would universal jointed hips.
and to be honest it would look better and I'd trust the joints more than ball/socket joints.
    (Apologies)
Now, I AM hoping that the apparent Pounce and Wingspan are coming out and handle the distribution of parts/simularity better
(If the giant cat is not Pounce then... I am sorely confused.)

Well, right now X2 Toys seems to have plans for a Orion Pax trailer, an Impactor figure, Autobot clones and a Voltron lion, and they put all the pictures out together, and sometimes with the same code numbers!

The figures are a maybe but the cut gun is a buy for me. To much potential.

They look ok as figures but not as clones. So glad I'm building my own set of these guys to go with my Decepticon clones.

They could achieve similar articulation without those nasty hips

    Needs skirt armor or redesign

if they're cheapish, they're mine. Not too attached to the characters, which is why im not turned away by the weird legs. They'll fit in nicely on my RID Cybertron guys shelf.

*Facepalms* Oh lordy... So, yeah, I thought the figure holding the cat-gun was a MP, I didn't realize it was a deluxe.
    ...
Dude, target master cat? BOUGHT^^ I need a toy to serve as my Ravage/Steeljaw! ^^ (Thus far all my 'casseticons' are targetmasters. I've the Rewind and Rumble molds from PE, the rhino hammer from Prime Breakdown, etc)

It seems that XT005 is named Project Gemini.

I wonder why the Cat has the number "2" on its back.

Joints seem like an odd choice. Unless it's required for transformation, appears more complicated than it should be to do these figures. Hips are awful. Hope they improve as I like the torso/heads and the fact that the hands (finger joints) have limited articulation.

As for the lion, is that a separate figure? Are they doing all 5?
