TFcon has already released a Shafter before, it was a yellow igear Rager made to homage G1 Erector. It was a real product that was released, and its bio was pretty much entirely dick jokes. I wouldn't put it past TFcon to want to give the "MP" treatment to one of their previous exclusives.

 

Yes they did, and it was as recently as last year, just about at this time. and I missed out on it and I was distraught. It WILL not happen again this year.

 

Sorry to burst your bubble, but this is our real exclusive this year. As stated before, TFcon has done Shafter before and he was a big success. A big, thick, throbbing success.

 

If this X-Transbot Shafter is true, then it should not have been posted around April Fools date, especially when it's already April's Fool in China today, from a 3rd party based in asia. It is better to wait a few more days, or have announced it a week or two earlier, just not to get fans confused like this, or if it is the 3rd party's fault, let them know for next time.

While it's not something I'd be interested in, I'm surprised (and happy, in one regard- I hate it when people do April Fool's stuff outside of April Fool's day- it's still March 31st in many, many parts of the world) this is real.

Like I said earlier, I'm no Erector/Shafter fan, but I really dig the fact that he may potentially become an unofficial mascot for TFcon, like a different version for every year.

So many people tried to get their hands on Shafter at the dame time that it turned into a great big mess. Really, a sticky situation.

 

I heard that people just couldn't stop spanking their Shafter- which seemed odd- and it's probably just a rumor.
