Not sure, but looking at the fine details on the magnets, they are not the same mold, just the same ideas.

They have Sunstorm. They should make a Helmet for Sunstorm instead.

Sweet job copying Unicron.com's Animated upgrade. Gotta love this new trend of 3rd parties stealing from eachother.

Also, about three years too late. Accesories are weaksauce when everyone's demanding FULL FIGURES.

Problem is, no Sunstorm helmet exists for them to rip off.

Funny, because the axe is the only one that's unique, but it looks awful because of the long-ass handle (which he actually used infrequently) and the weird block halfway up it.

 

Wow, fans are harsh.

I'd like to see more shots of their axe, but if its good I'd be interested in one. I'm pretty sure there was one done by some other guy awhile ago but it was a limited one, but my Voyager Prime really needs an axe =/

 

I don't think that's the only reason for it, the axe kind of needs to be multiple pieces anyway to have the counterweight part it has in the show (Which I don't think any version of the axe has had so far).


The only other way would to be to offer entirely new open-handed fists for each of the individual Optimus figures, which seems like a lot of effort just to make the handle the same width all the way through. I mean it is a little long if you just want a weapon he can hold in one hand, but you never know... The elongated handle could be optional, we can't really rule that possibility out just yet.

 

I can't see this selling very well.

What did you expect when 2/3 things they showed off have already been made by another company? A parade perhaps? LOL
