@ Tigerblade, I am sure when Swoop comes out, you are going to buy it too, eventhough you have your custom!!! Resistance is Futile my friend, and besides, you can have one in beast mode while the other on in bot mode  . Fans Toys for the big win!!!

 

So I went back to look:

Quakewave was announced December 6th last year.

The release was the week of the Feb. 26th here in the states.

I just hope FansToys can stick with this schedule again. A 3 month wait would be awesome!

You think I should have him build me more. Maybe FansToys is spying on our deals and releasing the real deals!

 

It's gonna be a hard resist.....especially if he's as hefty and well built as Quakey.

Fanstoys.....I'm making Blitzwing and Astrotrain......should I stop now?  

 

The thing is, I'm guessing if these are scaled to go with MP Grimlock, they're gonna look great in a Classics collection seeing how MP Grimlock seems to size up quite nicely in a mixed Classics display too, especially with iGear PP01 Faith Leader as your Prime (this is how I display them). Dinobots are meant to be huge dudes (with Grimlock often depicted as being bigger than even Optimus) and MP size will definitely look the part.

 

I don't know whether to assume that these Dinos will be MP Grimlock scale or if they're bigger than that. Part of me hopes that they're bigger, and that Fans Toys also has a bigger Grimlock planned down the road as well.


That being said I'm sure they'll be MP Grimmy size in bot mode which I'm totally fine with.

 

I, like you want a classics Slag, however, this looks awesome and I'm very excited and happy for all the MP collectors out there. Plus I understand that FanToys plan to release their Quakewave in a voyager size, so it wouldn't surprise me if they do the same for these. In the meantime, I'll patiently wait - Congrats MPers, this is some good stuff - enjoy.

 

No, I don't think do. I wouldn't want a Slag bigger than an Ultra in my Classics collection. MP10 size or bigger is too darned big.

IF they downsize it, I'm right there.

If I can make one suggestion, the original Slag toy has a sword and missile launcher they never used in the TV show. I know MP is supposed to be TV show accurate and all, but I like it when we get extras, like Prowl's missiles launcher, which were not in the show either.

One of my friends will be equally excited by the news as Swoop is his favorite Dinobot.

 

Yes, most likely FT-04 will be released in Q1 2014. I think maybe Dalianjj said it in the forums, but I pls don't quote me, it was a while and I cant remember, but it will be similar to Quakewave I believe.

I think as for the reveal of Skyfire this early on, maybe it was to have people see there are options  . But, I hope Takara does not step, and that they don't have a Skyfire of their own for 2014, keeping fingers crossed.

 

I have no idea how to even begin to explain how happy this makes me.
