KFC was nice enough to share with my Youtube show the concept art of a project they decided not to go with, so that people could see what it would have looked like and get a laugh. It's a less-than-serious recolor of their Ironpaw toy. It was scrapped in favor of the Retro Ironpaw toy, which is similar in color.

You can see them in this video at about 4:10 in. I have pictures of the front and back of the box and the collector card.

Btw, for those that don't know, this advert is the original Kia-Ora and ran alot in UK at the same time G1 was on TV. No idea if it was in other countries but I can still sing the whole tune to this day!

Hey scaleface, is there a podcast like that every week? Although I knew about every figure he showed, it is very informative if you miss something or out of town and away.

 

This is the 5th week so far. As long I'm not working too much overtime at the GM Tech Center, I'll keep making them. Amazing how it takes like an hour or 2 to make a 5 minute show.

Basically it looks like Retro Ironpaw will be exactly the same figure as Kia Ora, under a different name with a different bio.

 

  The box art is cool and the bio is funny! It's good to know that Retropaw will be exactly like Kia Ora.
