That doesn't seem like a bad guess. Was that guess for the release from the factory or in our hands?

I think 1 month is the middle point of what could happen.

Fastest: Final approval happens this week. All tools and assembly are all available to run the Kronos job. All 1000 units get made by next week. Air shipping from China and retailer shipping (priority) to us occurs all within 1 week. Summary: 2.5 weeks from now.

Longer: Another rev. is needed and approvals happen next week. Kronos job gets queued to start in 2 weeks. 1000 units are made in 2 weeks. Air shipping. Retailers need a few days to receive and pack. Most retailers were offering free shipping at the slower 1 week service. Summary: 7 weeks from now (without long customs delays).

 

i get the impression that it is the former or close to it. it almost sounded like kronos (the rest of of him) was already mostly assembled and the one part that needed to be retooled (thanks unautohrized change by factory! lol) would simply be installed on those WIP kronos once the change was approved and the part was run (he was supposed to see the new part from the new toolling today i think??) and that they'd ship out shortly thereafter. i am not sure though, but that was the impression i got when read arafat's message.

 

I would imagine it depends on the part and how involved it will be to remove and replace the old one once the new one is tested and approved.

 

I've honestly lost my anticipation. Don't get me wrong, I still want it, and keeping my preorder, but my zeal has waned. Both for this and scoria. It's kinda like when my ps4 arrived defective, and it took two weeks to replace... When I finally got it, I didn't play it for over a month, coz all I saw was the frustration. 6 months later I'm glad I have it tho.

 

^I basically feel that way about Scoria. Not so much about Kronos though since I think i was a little late to the party and didn't preorder until the new design popped up. Either way when I get them both and can throw them up in the display will be an awesome day for sure.

 

Yeah. I'm in the "acceptance stage" also for both of them. Whenever it gets here I am sure it will perk me up though.

 

my feelings towards these two releases have not changed. I'm as excited as ever.

 

I'm especially excited for Kronos. Skyfire was one of my all-time favorites from the G1 cartoon (even given his relatively low amount of airtime), and this toy captures him perfectly. The only thing I'm not excited about is adjusting all the shelves (thus rearranging everything) in my Masterpiece display case so he can fit. Oh well it would've had to be done when MP-22 comes out anyway

 

Same here, it took some convincing to even pre-order it, now that the pre-order has expired with ChosenPrime Im struggling to renew it. It'd be 100x more helpful if this actually had some reviews out, as it stands it looks like it'll just go right into production and then straight to the vendors once the parts are swapped out.

only thing bumming me out is I haven't been buying any other releases cause I know these guys are right at the door. so been on plastic crack withdrawl since I bought mp-13b  

but with the majority of retail releases just being aoe stuff I have no interest in, it's not too hard to keep focus.

 

Bah, this project was delayed like 2 months or something? You should be in the MMC Feral Rex train, that was delayed like 8 months, and that has a lot of fans less excited than originally. That's pretty normal really, when seing the prototypes of figures like Kronos and Scoria (and all 3 MPs for 2014) many months ago, and being hyped and eager to get them, but having to wait so long for them... the anticipation just goes down a lot from what it used to be.

BUT, once you get it at home, even if you are not as hyped about it as you were months ago, you will still enjoy it, and if not immediately, sometimes it takes a few minutes, or hours, or days, but eventually, if the product looks great and is great to hold, that feeling of proudness and being extremely happy with the purchase comes back, and you just keep looking at it, and smiling, and saying to yourself, this toy kicks ass. That's how I feel about Leodux and the rest of the feralcons, and I see no reason why it wont hold for other figures, like Kronos, for those that feel less excited than before.

 

Until then there is a lonely spot on my shelf just waiting for a Kronos to fill it. (insert cheesy 80's ballad here)

Yeah the MMC train is a rough one. We were supposed to get Leo in Oct , then it got pushed up to Dec. then March! That wait was the toughest. ( an most frustrating )

 

And Talon was supposed to be released last year's February?

 

Wasn't Talon the first to go up for preorders, yet last to be released…? Or is Tigris last, I forget?

 

What's the news on Kronos

 

I have it preordered on 20/1/13 at CP..........Talon was next wasn't he? Whatever it is, Kronos being further delayed is due to some jackass screwing things up and even if it didn't happen I doubt it'll be anything like waiting for Talon since preorder. It's not even a fair comparison, so whether Kronos is out in June or even July is fine by me.

 

If I were Arafat, I'd be so pissed right now. I feel bad for him. He's doing this all on his own and someone goes and messes with his hard work. Not cool.
