jetfire /skyfire shouldnt be 10 inche on scale he should be a lot higher and bulkier than mp10 to ne on the same scale , also mp level means several parts to acquiered heavy articulation and things like that .

you cant compare a product with 40 parts to one that has 160 , thats the difference on voyager and mp

There always has to be one in the crowd.

Anyway, thanks, ARAFAT209. I look forward to watching this project unfold. I hope we can get that slavishly G1 cartoon Skyfire in Masterpiece size that has been eluding us forever.

I think they look completely different, Kronos (Skyfire) is the Cartoon version, and Titan is the "Other" version (Jetfire). If you want that G1 toy, then as the maker said, just go get yourself a Yamato Macross toy, common, it is already made, you just gotta paint it that scheme or forget about it, or ask a KO company to duplicate the Yamato Macross toy but with that color scheme. This is not a KO, this is a 3rd party offering unique design.

These two project are completely different, and eventhough I like the boosters on Titan, the jet for Kronos is much better looking. I suspect the chest in bot mode will look nicer too on Kronos, and have better proportions, but we will see.

Right now, I really want to see the price on this thing. Not sure I will be buying either versions, but it has now finally got my full attention and I will give it a chance.

Oh, I did not know this. Thanks for sharing. So the other company making a voyager size must use less parts, not because of the size, but because of the complexity and type of product offering. Very interesting. So an MP level requires much more parts and complexity.

exactly also making a mp level figure cost a lot more than making a voygaer level figure

For this one, the jet mode looks spot on.

I just meant that I liked the looks of the bot mode, for that other project, which was nearly identical to the cartoon bot (at least with the proposed changes by "artistvideogame").

For my own selfish reasons, I want him to look good in scale to MP Optimus (new version), which might mean him having to be 13-14 inches tall. Plus that other project's bot didn't have articulated hands, which I hope this one has.

Titan with MP-01. Kronos will be the same height as Titan. It's an MP version, so, articulated hands are part of it. ;)

I just hope the bot mode is accurate. I, myself, have absolutely no idea how to do that, but clearly that guy "artistvideogame" does. Maybe he'd be interested in giving some pointers to this project. You seem very interested in feedback.

So another thing I don't need. Would prefer Classic size. Can they add a third one that's G1 toy inspired and Classic size?

Right now, the design is geared towards MP. Prototypes have already been made.

That's the OPPOSITE of what I want. I'd prefer the G1 toy head on an updated body.

Well, with the way things go with 3rd party TFs, there should be 4 more companies making Jetfires by the end of the month. Maybe I'd get lucky and one will make the toy I like.

So anyways, just to keep things straight:

Daca Kronos is a G1 animated Skyfire inspired Masterpiece scale toy.
Daca Titan is a later G1 IDW Jetfire inspired Masterpiece scale toy.
Daca is also making a head/gun for G1 Jetfire that looks more like G1 animated Skyfire.
Mechaform SkyGuardian is an animated SKyfire inspired Classic scale toy.

    Right?

Am I the only person who likes G1 toy heads for Jetfire and the '85 Decepticon jets?

    That is nice.

I know this is asking for much, but is there anyway you could have the right breast panel (far side in picture) open up like a door with some fake electronics (maybe even a sticker or empty), so it would be like the scene in the cartoon where Ratchet repairs him?

    Just a suggestion.

You won't have to worry about extra stickers for this guy.

If it comes out anywhere near as good as it looks on paper, repolabels will make the set.

I just wanted to see if we could get a door on the right breast with a small compartment underneath.

Hey, Arafat, I appreciate your communication with fans, but don't worry about pleasing everyone, that's impossible. It is good to listen, but it is your design in the end: if you make something you love, I am sure more fans will also love. I also appreciate your concern about costs. :thumb

Yeah, I'm not a Masterpiece collector, or a fan of G1 "Skyfire", so this isn't for me, but it's nice for what it is...
