Sooo, umm, which one do you care for most, Skyfire or Jetfire, and if you could only have one perfect MP type in your collection, which of the two character would it be? Personaly, I have a though time choosing, but maybe Skyfire a little more.

And for those that have the means and love the Skyfire / Jetfire character(s), will you get ALL of Kronos / Titan / FT-Skyfire (if they still wanna make it next year) / Hasbro Leader Jetfire / Skyguardien? And how do you plan on displaying them?

To me a mix up of both is best!

When it comes to looks...Jetfire, when it comes to my G1 cartoon accuracy..Skyfire.

If I could only pick one, I would pick Daca Toys Titan (Jetfire). Though it is not G1 cartoon, I prefer the look of it, and since I see them as really being the same character, having a Titan in my display as the only representation of Skyfire/Jetfire wouldn't bother me at all.

I don;t plan on getting FT's Skyfire or Hasbros Jetfire...or that other 3rd Party voyager Skyguardian.

My intention is to support Kronos with a purchase in order to help fund Titan.

Hopefully I'll have room to display both in the autobot display..

Skyfire is most likely the only one I will get. Getting both would be costly and Skyfire is the version I prefer anyway having grown up a G1ner.

I may pick up Hasbro Jetfire to display with some of the classics that I have.

Thanks for sharing. Having a collection of Yamato Macross toys, and always having wanted the G1 toy of Jetfire, I am starting to feel a big pull towards the Titan project (not currently sure I can afford it though, hopefully if it does get made, I will have the budget for it). Yes, I still want Kronos too, cause I rewatch the show time to time, and we have never had a real toy for skyfire in any way, only Jetfire ;) .

I am actually currently looking for a Jetfire Head to put on one of my Yamato 1/48th vf-1 so I can customize it into Jetfire, as it currently only has a vf-1a head. Hopefully I can make something out this summer and have a mini group of these Skyfire / Jetfire figures displayed together.

After the last few exchanges, Arafat said he wasn't showing anything until it was finished.

I MAY have a spare original G1 Jetfire head, but you will have better luck over on the MacrossWorld forums looking for a legitimate 1/48th VF-1S head.

You could use the g1 figure head. It still is a good mold and would just need a little love paint wise.

Thanks for sharing. The price of the Hasbro one is very tempting, and I sort of like the alt mode too, but...

when I see some of the obvious flaws of the bot mode in the front view which is what everyone looks at, I get a bit disappointed why they cheaped out on this view for the unfilled wing bits, and hollow / ugly backpack. Still might try get it and try to mod it or something if I can...

Since Skyfire/Jetfire has always been my number 1 favorite Autobot opposite Shockwave being my number 1 favorite decepticon, I plan on getting every SF/JF toy being made.

It's about time he get's his due. sure he's had other cruddy toys made from him in the past, but nothing beats a 14 inch tall 5 lb. toy of this guy. ;)

It is about time, and man, he will be huge, but at 5 lbs.... that's really very heavy -> for a weakling like myself :p .

Thanks guys, and I have tried that forum without success, probably because the 1/48 is too old and everyone has the new 1/60 only. Wish I got the balls to try repaints earlier in my life, but I guess better late than never ;) . As for G1 Jetfire head, never really thought about it, so I will investigate it. Thanks for the suggestions.

For me, definitley DT Kronos (Skyfire) and FT Skyfire [gotta support both!] because my MP collection is based on cartoon accuracy. The only exception I made was with MP-10 since I have both the Takara and Hasbro versions - although the Takara version is the cartoon accurate one, the Hasbro version has those eyes

Probably only getting Kronos, because I only care about "Skyfire" from the original media.

Unless FT's Not-Skyfire is somehow WAY better (but how??), then I'll pick that up also, if my luck turns around.

How to display? How 'bout Alt-mode backwards?
Seriously, I'll probably do what most everyone else will do - 'bot mode in back of a group of MPs facing forward.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if FT Skyfire goes the way of Acoustic Wave…

I could think of a few things that FT wld make better. Though I feel what Daca's doing is just perfect.
