They indicated it's about the size of MP10 in TRUCK MODE, so as a robot it will be pretty big.

 

Looks a lot like the Titanium Magnus, which might not be the best selling point.


City Commander is a good Magnus but also suffers a bit since it needs the Classics mold in order to work right. If this is a stand-alone Magnus it might have a better shot.

Between this, Perceptor and Captain Shark, KFC definitely has my attention.

 

That's crazy cool but I'm going to hold out for TW's IDW Magnus.

Yes. Last I heard it's truck mode is as large as Masterpiece MP10 Optimus Prime in truck mode. So that's pretty big in robot mode.

My only quibble (very small at that) is the bull bars on the front bumper/grill of the cab. Other than that he's spot on.

 

Deja-vu. How many 3D renders of a 3P UM have we've seen over the years only for them to never materialize? XD Hopefully KFC (or any 3P outside of FP) follows through this time. Doesn't look bad though but not sure if this is worth it given that a Takara MP UM is in the works.

Yep I knew the design would be awesome when talking to the designer at TFCON. However, it is kfc's execution and pricing that keep me away. Their 6" perceptor was 75$, and didn't have a proper transformation or good modes. This however I know is a great design, a real transformation, 2 kick ass modes, and based on fans more popular request, too LARGE, ie skyfire large. If it was 9", and maybe by MMC, it would be around 200$ probably. I fear to even imagine the price now. Price and quality will determine my getting this, and I will only be getting this. I do love that robot mode though, and I am NOT a ultraM fan


Edit: well, actually this seems like a much simpler design than nova prime, so KFC has a chance at a reasonable price.
