Wasn't a 3rd party transforming Six-gun announced? My memory is fuzzy so I may have heard wrong.

Keep in mind the altmode pic is actually a mid-transformation pic. Not sure why they think they need to hide it. Some of these 3P's are mentally ******ed when it comes to showing off their product.

if it's not too pricey, I might like it, be a neat sciencey prop and it turns into a neat gun I could hold, or give to metroplex if I ever got one.

Call of the Last Prime | Metroplex Stop Motion - YouTube

Transformers Stop Motion featuring the largest transformer ever; Metroplex, guardian of Autobot City.

HK-Con Metroplex was used for this video, don't see the need for a 3rd party gun =/

What exactly are we supposed to be transforming into there in the first prototype picture? A Cybertronian cell phone tower?

Too me that is Slammer, but Slammer has 3 modes: Tank mode, Gun mode and it appears to be a Mortor or howitzer for long range? Either way, i would have to see the final product and would only need one gun as well. Anyone wanna take a guess how much this will be going for? I'll say $30 for this.

Maybe it's because not everybody could make it and would rather have the Hasbro one than pay for shipping on this big lug plus $50 more?

Depending on price, I'll probably be getting one.

    oh my god!
just the other day I found that somehow the 5mm plug had sheared off while attached, ruining the guns ability to connect to Metroplex...I've been pretty bummed by it.... Now this gets announced..... Oh thank you God!..... sometimes it's the little things he does!

    Two questions:

    1. What the hell is its alt mode?
    2. Why did they re-mold the original gun, who not create a new design? It defiantly is ripped from Hasbro when it looks like a direct cast with a few elbow joints added.

1: NO CLUE why they're not sharing this key piece of info :/
2: This was undoubtedly so that you could add this one to your single-gun Hasbro edition and end up with two matching guns.

I *get it* but not the design call I would have made either.

I agree with your answers/thoughts on 1 and 2, but I actually like that it's the same gun in gun mode as what comes with Metroplex. I just hope it doesn't get them in hot water over copying the gun design.

That being said, if the other mode(s) look great then I'm happy with the current gun mode or a changed one.

Also thank you, daimchoc, for pointing out Shaft. I had previously missed this little guy and I think he looks great so far!
