I recently purchased the items - Cogz/Gears and Bushwhacker/Outback from Igear. The items were received in inadequate packaging (only a jiffy bag) and the boxes of both were badly damaged. When I emailed the company to complain I received an email stating - ''We are so sorry about everything, but the shipping cost decided we can't use big and strong box to ship, sorry.''

As you can imagine this was infuriating and I subsequently sent another two emails in hope of a better response - both of which were ignored.

My advice to everyone on here would be to avoid dealing with Igear in any way shape or form. If you really like their products I would highly suggest doing so through ebay or a source other than the company themselves.

I'd never order anything directly from them--they can't package for sh!t and products ship from them long after other online shops get them.

Sorry you had problems. Their answer is inexcusable!

Igear's always had a bad rep when it comes to buying directly from them.

Have ordered several times from iGear, but never with any problems (knocks wood)

All items came wrapped in bubbly plastic and inside a box.

Weird thing is the big difference with the last Mini Warriors. I pre-ordered mine pretty late (about a week in advance) and mine came packaged in a box. Apparently they switched (randomly?) to just bubblewrap sometime.

Yes, I took a risk without knowing about their poor reputation and got my fingers burned. Hopefully this post will stop anyone else making the same mistake as me. Thanks for the advice about Paypal, I never thought about opening a case with them...

Glad you had a better experience than me. I have ordered once before and was impressed with the packaging. It wasn't even the fact they packaged the item badly, it was the fact they sent me an email saying they thought it was acceptable to post these things over half way across the globe in a only jiffy bag lol

This is how my last shipment arrived. Sucks. Every other thing I've ordered from them arrived nicely packed. I hope this is remedied in the future. This stuff is too expensive to be this abused.

They're in an even worse condition than mine! I've just opened a case with paypal, I suggest you do the same if that is the method you used? Can't let these people get away with it. If they warned you they wouldn't be packaged properly you could make an informed decision as to whether it is worth buying or not.

When I got PP-05 it came in a specially-designed shipping box that was labeled accordingly (PP-05W, not M)... And it was a really sturdy box.

Customer service was shit (thankfully I didn't need it) but I wasn't disappointed with the shipping.

Common theme with igear. Lots have posted about the jiffy-bag shit. Mine were so badly crushed I still have no idea how Cogz wasn't damaged.......the inner trays held up better than the boxes.

Not surprised in the slightest about the response, except I'm surprised you even got a response. Usually they just ignore emails. I was way over the Paypal 42 day limit for bringing a case but it's a lesson to me to never be in that position again.

Some on here think their shit don't stink but the slow to non-existent customer service, questionable colour choices, forever delivery timescales and THAT BEE FACE mean im done with them. Who needs the hassle.

Only had one problem with Igear and I've ordered a bunch of items from them. My Bushwacker arrived at my door with two left hands. I contacted Igear and sent them pictures of the problem. They sent out a replacement. I was expecting just to receive the correct arm but they sent me an entirely new figure. To say the least I was happily surprised.

Technically it's not their fault. Sure they could of prevented it, but they're giving you free shipping from China so... I've ordered two things from them and both were smooshed a little too.

I have only ordered iGear items through igear and everything has always been perfect. Everything has been packed very well and every box arrives minty mint mint.

I still have some love left for iGear and will buy Wheelie and Powerglide btu that is only if they do not bundle them with BB and CJ, those figures are ugly and unneeded.

I also lost a lot of respect for them with the colour bullshit on the last 4 releases. You know they will release a correct coloured version eventually and that is just a major pisser.

That was the EXACT same experience I had with my Bushwacker. My box was crushed, but the only thing wrong with the figure was two left arms. They responded right away and sent me a whole new toy, sans box and weapon. Funny, though, that the replacement toy was sent in a damn bubble mailer. I got lucky enough, and the figure was not crushed in transit.

Buy from retailers with reputable customer service, assuming they carry igear products.

its a matter of "luck" to get a product unharmed. Some people tend to get them unharmed, some don't, but the bottom line is a package's damage should not be based on luck. You are paying for the service and product.

Also, stop saying "yeah shipping is free". it's not. its just part of the figure cost that they dumped in.

Bingo. I've never once had an issue with the iGear products I bought through BBTS. I'll never attempt to go straight through iGear.

Wow I wish I read this before I ordered their Autoscout cassette this past weekend from their website. Was only $20 so I guess we'll wait and see if it comes damaged. What kind of shipping times are we talking about? I guess I'll wait 30 days before I get PayPal involved.
